▲ All of a sudden, a blur of blue wooshed past the town members that were fighting the huge dragon. Despite the pokémon's size, he still seemed fast. The blue pokémon rushed towards Ranulfr, who was holding the poor Purrlion Selena tightly in his grip. In a swift movement, the pokémon grew brightly purple, and Ranulfr was knocked away- releasing Selena and leaving her unharmed! Well, as far as unharmed could so since she had been damaged by the earthquake before. While the Druddigon was now actually moaning in pain, the huge pokémon that saved Selena bent down to the Purrlion's level, tipping his conical hat so she could see his eyes. The pokémon appeared to be a Swampert. "There's no need to fear! Team Dynasty is here!" He shouted, maintaining a superhero pose for extra awesomeness. Apparently, the Swampert had used Mirror Coat to protect Selena from fainting! He showed a derpy smile at the little Purrlion, who was this Swampert anyway? @ tag ● # # # ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS

Guildmaster Kargo
"Johaan slow down, don't get your tail in a tizzy!" the clearly authoritative voice came in the form of an orange blur that came to a slowed down to a halt by the Swampert. This creature was a Floatzel - tall and sleek and frowning disapprovingly at the Swampert. "We were going to come in together." he reprimanded the other pokemon, turning to quickly survey the Druddigon as well as the surrounding pokemon. "Group together everyone, we've almost got this thing beat!" Kargo called, speaking with the sort of confidence of a pokemon who expected to be obeyed. "Your guildmasters are here, so chin up! We've almost won!" he walked calmly over to the fallen Tyrunt, putting a seed to Maximus 's lips before straightening again and giving Johaan a stern look. Maximus is given a reviver seed! Maxiumus is revived! |

"O ooh, tizzy! I like that word!" the sound of a high voice rose above the others, a Weavile soon dashing through the crowd to skid to a stop beside her other Guildmasters, a nearly inhumane grin upon her face. "We should've gotten out more! Are you guys still on your game?" the mysterious Weavile wondered with a tiny stretch, flexing long, alabaster claws with a wide, toothy grin. Soon, her arms were lowered and she looked to the crowd of huffing Pokemon, a flicker of energy in her eyes. "Now if you'll excuuuse me," with a determined smile, she stepped aside from Johaan and Kargo, sticking her tongue out at them in a playful way. "We got a big dragon to beat up! I think we've spent enough time talking." grinning, the Weavile turned to stare at Ranulfr, a sparkle of determination and odd... was that cruelty? in her eyes. She flicked her claws forward, their white tips engulfed in an icy exterior before she rushed forward. Leaping high, the black and red Guildmaste rushed forward, her ice-covered arm connecting with the snout of the dragon with a thickening thud. She landed on the ground with a roll, soon stabilizing herself and rushing back to the front of the Druddigon. Jittery from the first time of actually getting out in years, she looked back to her cohort with a smile. "Which one of you two decided to stay in that stuffy office for a while? I bet it was you Kargo." she stated playfully, shrugging. tags: @username words: 270 notes: Jahla used Ice Punch!

// For Peace was no more//Who are they?
Domino just barely escaped a scare. The bleak of the fallen Tyrunt caused all of the Pokemon to feel somewhat disheartened, though some didn’t even seem to notice he even fainted. Even the Emolga felt a little shaken earlier, but she had managed to somehow be the first to attack after the dino fainted. Unfortunately, that was her mistake along with not moving to another location. As she ran to hide, in the corner of her eye, she caught the approach of the giant hand of the beast moving toward her.
The Emolga began to panic, but in her attempt to scurry away, she trapped herself. Her eyes widened as her body began to tremble, pinning herself against the wall, ears pinned against her head. Shielding her eyes away from the beast, Domino prepared for the worst, but it never came. She sealed her eyes shut for a few more moments before blinking them open to see the dragon being hit back by the Sneasel, who saved her once again.
Domino froze for a moment before snapping out of her initial shock, shaking her head vigorously and taking off to the skies looking for her next place for attack. Once again, she focused on keeping the attacking Pokemon as her cloak, landing near a building on the other side of the crowd. Domino’s cheeks danced with electricity, but before she could continue her strategy, the Purrloin that had been attacked was grabbed. Her teeth clenched as she prepared herself to see the poor creature be thrashed around by the beast even much more vigorously than the dinosaur with the size difference in mind.
However, before he was able to, a decent sized, blue Pokemon covering himself and the Purrloin in a purple aura. Sighing, perhaps knowing full well that could have easily been her, Domino charged her attack once again and unleashed another ThunderShock, refusing to back off this task before it was complete. However, she didn’t unleash it before the swift Weavile made contact with the snout of the beast, an Ice-Type attack of her own unleashed on the beast unfortunate enough to be in the cross-fire.
After Domino unleashed her attack, she looked around to see if there was anyone else important she might’ve missed, and caught a Flotzel who was aiding the fainted Tyrunt. Despite their helpful actions, Domino felt like she would never truly consider them allies aside from this event. Who were these Pokemon anyway?

The battle didn't look like it was being won any... the pokemon were amassing and fighting back against the monster, but he simply wasn't going down. Holly gave a growl of frustration. She knew they had to be doing something effective, that druddigon would go down sooner or later! He seemed to be moving around with more purpose than a confused pokemon should be, so Holly shot off another supersonic, a loud screech that couldn't be heard by any except for the unfortunate victim. You stay confused, Druddigon.
As Holly circled around the enemy once again, she flinched slightly at the three blurs that shot into formation in front of the druddigon. A Weavile, a Swampert, and a Floatzel? Holly vaguely recognized team Dynaasty from around the guild but...were they the new guildmasters? Kargo had been the leader of team dynasty when it was a regular team, so wouldn't that mean he was the leader now, or were all three leaders? The Noibat shook her head in confused frustration.
Ah well. It was up to them to finish this thing off now.

Pascal for his part was quite content letting the rest of the pokemon do the heavy lifting. Attacks were shot back and forth, pokemon went down and back up again. And for this pillowbird, Pascal was simply leisurely circling around in the air, occasionally growling every now and then (via adorable beak clack) to do his part. His lazy floating meant that he wasn't drawing much attention, which meant that he didn't have to expend the energy dodging any attacks - for who would attack a lazy cloud circling in the sky.
The arrival of the three newcomers - obviously powerful pokemon in that they were all fully evolved - did draw a small chirp of surprise. Well this was new. Since when did the guild have such powerful pokemon? Resolving to keep a close eye on these three...whoever they were.. Pascal flapped his wings and gained a bit more altitude, determined to keep out of attention.

Level 6 / Synchronize / Growl, Confusion, Confuse Ray, Double Team There it was. Nix paused as she heard the word from the dragon and her eyes dropped, moving over his almost broken form. Her hands moved without thought and she almost leaned forwards to comfort him when the other Pokémon, another of the group done forwards and attacked. The guard was back, the dragon was fighting once more.
Nix sighed, her own guard back up before the trio of pome.on dove in. One pulled a purrloin from the dragons grasp as another spoke, nix wanted to turn her eyes but her hands were moving again. No, she would see who these Pokemon were in time but right now she wanted to win this battle. Bright eyes flashed and nix sent a wave of light forwards, the ray shooting for the dragon as nix tried to ignore the voice in her head asking if that moment of weakness had really been who this Pokemon was or just an act?

Ryleh held his breath... one second... two seconds... for a moment, the druddigon had seen him, and yet no crushing claws came down. Three seconds... Four seconds... It looked like the camouflage had worked. Ryleh opened his eyes to see the druddigon gratuitously going to town on some hapless vigilante.
Quickly, the inkay went trough the usual motions when something larger and stronger than him started throwing punches around. SLipping out of town square in all the chaos wasn't difficult, he would go to his usual hiding spot in the forest, a hidden-away creek Not many pokemon knew about. To an inkay, it was a good place as any to sleep. He would see what the town looked like in the morning.
It's not like he cared abouthis owns tash of stuff. What he wasn't carrying on his person was in storage under an insurance agreement he insisted on quite a lot. "Sure, what could happen in this sleepy town anyway" the migthyena had said. Ryleh made a mental note to rub the pokemon's face in that statement if the storage was a smoking ruin in the morning.

Got a secret, can you keep it, swear this one you'll save.

Post by Tinair on Jun 28, 2016 1:49:52 GMT
I know what you don't know Almost cowering behind the other pokemon, though she would have never called it cowering herself, Tinair peeked out between the others just to see what had happened. A huge crash sent her back into the shadows, not wanting to risk anything while she was in her strange state of weakness.
Soon enough, it was peaceful enough for tinair to peek out again, just in time to see the small kitten-like pokemon trapped in the hold of the druddigon. If he threw the little cat, she would most certainly be wounded badly, perhaps even fatally. She was no hero, however, and would not save her even if she had the energy to do so.
Before the druddigon threw the purrloin, though, a trio of pokemon suddenly showed up, one blue, another orange, and a final, black one, saving the purrloin from the monster's clutches. Even though she felt no emotional connection with the little kitten pokemon, she breathed a sign of relief. They would need all their fighters to win this, and the more pokemon who could fight, the better.
She knew very little about the trio that turned up to fight, except that they were explorers, and darned good ones, too. Tin knew a little about most influential people, but very little. if they were as strong as she heard they were, the battle would soon shift to be in their favor.
For now, she would sit. And wait. I see what you don't see mentioned Selena , 266 words, Tinair did not use any move ©tyrnn, can be used on EoTF [googlefont="raleway"]

"RRRRRAAAAAGGGHHH."
Maximus woke with a start, shooting up into a sitting position, eyes wide. "I'm... I'm alive?" he ran a clawed hand over his face, his neck, his chest. He gave himself a pinch. Ouch. Definitely not dreaming. "I'm alive!"
His eyes were practically bugging out of his head, so shocked and ecstatic was he. A silly grin split his face; he scrambled onto his feet, reveling at how energetic his body felt. He'd been convinced that the moments leading up to his failing consciousness were his last--but not anymore! He was great! Fine! Fantastic!
He didn't even know how he came back to full health, but he didn't really care.
"Right! Maximus is here to save the day!" Darting his eyes around, Maximus searched for the Druddigon, ready to rejoin the fray. But--what was this? Who were these Pokemon?
He hadn't seen them before. They must have arrived after he fainted. "Uh." Momentarily distracted, Maximus craned his neck to get a better look at the three strangers. They practically oozed confidence as they faced down the Druddigon--the Weavile especially. Max managed to spot her right as she delivered her attack, and he practically whooped with joy.
A fire lit in his belly. Right! Why was he still standing here! It was time to rejoin the fray!
"Come and get it!" His jaws sparked with electricity once more, and he dashed straight for Ranulfr. "I'll get you this time!"

Post by Aloise on Jun 28, 2016 2:51:34 GMT
Oh my god. Ohhh my god. Aloise felt like she might actually cry real tears.
She hadn't counted on the Druddigon stooping over to pick her up. Like. At all. And being the great mastermind that she was, she reacted to being lifted off the floor by freezing. And nearly screaming.
Thankfully, though, time didn't stop the moment Aloise got scooped off the ground, and the onslaught on the Druddigon continued. Before long she felt herself slipping from its claws, and the moment she touched solid ground she fled nearly to the edge of the square. Too close... too damn close. Her heart was liable to beat out of her chest. That was the last time she tried something like that.
Wiping a trail of cold sweat off her face, she took a steadying breath and turned back in the direction of the fray--
"Your Guildmasters are here, so chin up!"
What. No. No no no no no.
Oh my god no.
That was just her luck. Of course the most powerful Pokemon in the Explorers' Guild would show up. Of course they would. And there's more than one of them. Great. She'd never seen hide nor hair of any of them before, but she'd chalked it up to her ability to slip away at the slightest sign of danger. After all, she'd be dead meat if she were caught by the Good Guys. Actively seeking them out was a big no-no.
And right now, Aloise felt like the best thing to ensure her survival was to go-go. But... what if things went downhill, even with the Goody Two-Shoes Express in the station? What if the difference between the town's survival and its destruction lay with her decision to participate?
God, look at me. Now I sound like an Explorer.
Ugh. Whatever. The Guildmasters wouldn't be able to recognize her (if they could have recognized her at all) in the middle of all this chaos. She should be relatively safe at this distance; if she just attacked from afar, she'd be fine.
Aloise cast a last, longing look at the alleyways behind her. She sighed. Her appendages drooped. Then, turning back to the fight, she summoned up a billowing wind and directed it at the Druddigon.

Cloud
Hm...? I'm supposed to say something...?

Post by Cloud on Jun 28, 2016 12:12:00 GMT
As the Sandile was swung off the Druddigon for the third time, Cloud began to slowly realize that he wasn’t getting anywhere with his electrified biting attack. Maybe it was because his skin was so rough, he couldn’t get a good enough grip on him. Or maybe he was ground type? He didn’t look like it, though. Maybe he just became desensitized to the feelings of being bitten. There were a lot of Pokemon biting him, after all.
As he was trying to figure out what was wrong with his biting, Cloud noticed the trio of Pokemon coming into the fray, claiming to be the guildmasters. One would be normally skeptical of three random Pokemon claiming to be the guildmasters, especially since there hasn’t been a sighting of one guildmaster in ages, let alone three. But Cloud just figured that because he slept so much, he didn’t see them at all.
Speaking of the guildmasters, after watching the Weavile run up and deliver an ice punch to the beast, Cloud suddenly got an idea. He remembered that he knew that he could help make that blow hurt like the Earthquake hurt pretty much everyone on the ground. Keeping a fair distance away from him, Cloud stared intensely at the Druddigon. The black rims around his eyes helped the crimson shade that had came over his eyes seem that much more intimidating.

For peace, was no more
Selena Used Growl Words-286
As she was gripped by the Druddigon, Selena realized that trying to attack the thing was indeed the stupidest thing that she had done. It might possibly be the last thing that she could have done. As she struggled to be let go, the feline began to see her life flash before her eyes. Was this how she was going to be remembered? A childish prankster that stole from people? Or maybe just someone who gave their life charging the thing? Either way, from what her inability to escape the grasp of the fog-riddled beast shows, it seemed that her fate was sealed. So, the Purrloin clenched her eyes shut and prepared for the pain to come.
Except...it didn’t. She suddenly found herself away from the fog-riddled foe and next to this goofy seeming Swampert. After checking to make sure that she was indeed alive, Selena laughed victoriously and pointed at the sky, yelling ”Screw you fate!” She then turned to the Swampert. He was an explorer, by the way he yelled out his team’s name. She would have rather be back in the grasp of the Druggidon than let this Explorer get the glory of saving her. But she wouldn’t say that to his face. Not after he had just saved her life. That would be ungrateful, and Selena was anything but that. Instead, she nodded to him and calmly said ”Thanks…”
Returning her attention back to the beast, she had definitely learned her lesson from charging that thing. Instead, she resumed her tactic from earlier. Standing firmly, she began to growl at the beast. She put all she had to make the growl seem even more intimidating than before.

Post by Vanitas on Jun 28, 2016 12:41:17 GMT
Van had honestly not noticed the Emolga-thief in the chaos of this massive clash, nor would he have been concerned about her in any way. What he focused on was his succesful attack on the dragon beast, temporarily causing its leg to freeze. If Van could keep on dish out damage like that while the others would apply their crowd control and debuffs on it, he might be able to take it down sooner or later. A saving grace for the town; but was why the explorers were forged in the first place, to protect and fight back. He had fought back often, but now it was his duty to protect, just like it was the case for many others here. Many things happened in a short period of time; too many for him to count not behold all at once. That was until the monster grabbed Selena, intending to do the same with her as Maximus. He did not know either, but seeing them put down by this fiend just like that infuriated him nonetheless. However... it did not come as expected. 3 valiant heroes appeared from the shadows, ready to fulfill their duties. A Sumpex this fast... it boggled Van's mind. And then there was... the guildmaster, here to show the might that was his guild. He spoke with a voice of authority yet also cooperation, inspireing Vanitas to follow his command. The guildmaster knew what he wanted to do, so he grouped up with the others to finish this battle once and for all. And then... there she was; Jahla . The loyal Weavile of the guildmaster's team destiny; his... paragon. She was beaming with confidence, and displayed amazing speed and strength against the Druddigon. Van was in awe... but he quickly regained composure. But he definetly wanted to impress her; after all he was a Sneasel and soon to be Weavile. Jahla knew best about the hidden potential within him, so he hoped she could maybe nudge him in the right direction to get the maximum out of him. Another barrage of debuffs and crowd control attacks followed swiftly after the guildmasters command, all pokemon likely inspired by Team Dynasty's skill just like Van was. In any case, encasing his talons in ice, he once more dashes towards the likely distracted Druddigon, attacking its right leg with another Ice Punch. Knocking it from his feet still remained his desired outcome, but... if he was left no other choice, he might have to end this.

The crimson receded from his eyes, washing from his optics to revealed worried optics that flickered with untapped energy. His eyes locked on the dragon who snarled and stepped forward, braying and snarling as if he were to bring his claws down right on his head. Paling, the puppy stepped back, nearly indenting his paws into Maximus' face in his attempt to escape the attack he was sure to be coming. Squeezing his eyes shut in frantic anticipation, Silvain waited for his consciousness to slip away, merely a blip in the town of ferocious fighters who stood up for their land. Perhaps that was all he was destined to be. It never came. Moments passed before Silvain's eyes were revealed, frantically glancing every which way to gauge his level of immediate danger. Eyes locked on the Druddigon, who reached down and clenched yet another victim in the midst of his rage. The Houndour's ears pressed back against his head; not only would this battle hurt the town, but also the inhabitants and their pride. Frowning deeply, he stepped forwards, feeling his heart beat out of his chest as he watched the cat get crushed in the hand of the tyrant. It was all over, he thought. They would never beat this, would they? His face fell and his morale dipped. He turned his head to look at the fallen body of Maximus, eyes dipping to spot a flash of orange lean down and touch a Reviver Seed to the fallen comrade. Looking up, Silvain's ears perked as he followed the footsteps of the Floatzel with his eyes, only to spot a dopey Swampert saving the Purrloin from danger, while a confident Weavile swiftly put her ice-covered claws to the snout of the Druddigon. Eyes widening, he watched their show with hope, depsite confusion flickering in his heart. "G-Guildmasters??" he wondered softly, looking around the crowd for answers. Now that he recalled it, he had never even seen the Guildmaster(s), they'd always been hidden from public eyes, even when registering new explorers. But... Now that they were here, shouldn't that mean that he should work harder? Turning back, Silvain's eyes filled with another shade of crimson. He knew his ember wouldn't work, he'd have to try and make it so that the Dragon-type's defenses lowered slightly. Silvain used Leer!PLOTTWIST MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0
