PERSONALITY,
Vanitas is almost a reflection of his both types; a shrouded mind and a cold character. Either be it because of the prison they call 'The Fog', or his own self-imposed path, he focussed on getting stronger every day to one day defeat the fog once and for all. Focused, strategic and dauntless, Van has tought himself the art of battle by careful observation and by legends.
Calm and relentless, the only way to bring Van out of composure is by sheer stupidity. Van is generally a bit lonely, since there are not a lot of dark pokemon, and dark pokemon generally have the stigma of being 'frowning'. But Van can actually be very chearful if the situation allows for it, enjoying spicy food and jokeful conversations. In general, he is a heroic person, believing in protecting the weak and innocent, but also strength through cooperation. Sacrifice is at times necessary, and Van would be willing to do it if no other option was available.
