PERSONALITY,
Thinking twice (or, even thinking at all) about doing something before taking the dive isn't Maximus' style. Like, at all. Rash and impulsive, he rarely takes the time to consider the consequences of his actions, often assuming that things will go his way and that there is absolutely no way things could go wrong. Obviously, this way of thinking doesn't always work out in his favor. In fact, it rarely does.
But what he lacks in foresight he makes up for with sheer enthusiasm. Max is always ready to take the initiative and is usually the first one to rush headlong into a mission. Being younger than most explorers, he's desperate to prove himself and show the more seasoned veterans that he can hold his own in the field, and does everything he can to make a name for himself in town. Fame as an explorer is his top priority, and he's determined to obtain it as fast as he possibly can.
