It was long dark in the Town Square of Andalusst. All the its citizens are sleeping, cuddled up in their nests to dream of whatever their future holds. The slumbering citizens were unaware of what horrors and what kind of havoc was to be brought upon them.
You see, the fog that surrounds Andalusst keeps a nasty secret. Pokémon caught within the fog.. become wild, brainless monsters. They do not hesitate to kill when given the chance. Which is why the inhabitans of Andalusst are keeping far away from the mysterious mist.

Lots of tough Pokémon did not believe the nonsense that they were told, and tried exploring whatever was beyond the fog. But.. most of them never returned.
The ones that did..? Well that hasn't happened before..

Until now..

Out of the darkness came a moan, a low, throaty moan that hungered. It hungered for strength and destruction.
It was red.. with blue- eyes crazed like it had rabies.

The Pokémon was revealed to be a Druddigon, who started stomping through the Town Square of Andalusst. Nobody knew how it had returned from the fog, but that wasn't the main issue right now.

The Druddigon took a breath, before emitting a dragonous roar into the skies of Andalusst. It would wake the inhabitans, causing fear, perhaps confusion as well.
Truly, this beast would need to be stopped before it would destroy the Town Square!

[Vanitas]

Van too, despite being a dark type pokemon, had attempted to enjoy the gentle sleep in the night just like everyone else. He just wanted to forget what had happened the past noon, which had been the greatest humilation in his life thus far. No, no, don't think about it again. He took a few deep breaths in and out and focused his mind on something more pleasant, like accomplishing mission with Roamer and training Kaslin to overcome his anxiety. Yes... those were the moments of heroism that would allow him to shape the world into a better place. Small inanities like that one arena battle did not matter at all.

Yes... gentle dreams of his great, kind heart for everyone. And dreams about him vanquishing his adversaries with ease. Good dreams. It seemed that finally, the Sneasel amanged to fall asleep happily after all. That was until a sudden loud roar pushed him out of his sweet dreams of glory again, causing him to get up and haste to the window of his parents' house. And in the lights of the lanterns outside, he saw the beast that seemed to rage in the city.

Immediately hasting outside and ignoring his parents pleads, he would not haste from halting his beast. He recognized it as what it was... a being utterly tainted by the fog. This was no longer a pokemon, but just a wakling construct of instincts. This Druddigon... it had to be stopped, one way or another. And just like he had learned from... urg... the arena battle... he would show no mercy.

"Disappear!" Van shouted at the raging beast, leapign at it from a slightly elevated position as he talons began to be engulfed in an aura of frost. Ice Punch would be super strong against this dragon pokemon, especially since it was an attacking matching his natural type. 

While feeling confident, he nonetheless hoped for assitance, since he could never know what kind of hidden powers this raging beast posessed. He certainly would not mind knowing Roamer by his side.

What a GRUESOME beast!

 

A few days Domino’s “friendly” chat with Kaslin, the Emolga had perched herself onto a tree nearby the town, taking deep breaths through her tiny nose before exhaling through her mouth. That night had started out so peaceful that Domino began sleeping like a little baby. It was turning out to be the first good night sleep she would have in a while, just taking deep breaths, allowing her chest to slowly rise and fall. Some may wonder how she could possibly sleep after all of the horrific things Domino did to that poor Swinub, but then they would have to truly get to know her to understand.

Domino felt herself stretch out in her sleep before being harshly woken up by an ear shattering roar. The Electric-Type jolted at the monstrous sound and bolted into hiding in the shadows behind the tree she had been resting in. Never before had the Emolga heard anything so terrifying. It seemed so… so… beast like! She knew that sounded so strange in her head since she had seen Pokemon that looked like beasts who were as civil as could be, but this was so very different.

Looking past the tree, Domino could see what looked like some sort of dinosaur with the oddest combinations of colors she’d ever seen. There was definitely something off, something abnormal about it, but Domino hardly minded that. It looked so goofy that the Emolga could hardly take it seriously had it not been for the destructive roar. Still, Domino quickly shook off her fear and replaced it with raw anger. Who was this beast, this monster to wake her up in the middle of her rest? Surely she wouldn’t stand for it, but how would she be able to beat a monster who seemed to have such raw power despite having a rather goofy design? That was something Domino, truly, had to think long and hard about.

Surely, this wasn’t a battle she could win alone. Even she had to admit that. Anyone who could help would be greatly appreciated. Domino suddenly spotted a swift moving Sneasel aiming an angry Ice Punch at his foe. Anyone else… Anyone else but him… Domino instantly took off after the beast, with the intention of hiding at a closer distance behind one of the buildings the monster was rampaging.

[Holly]

Holly the Noibat Holly, too, had been resting when the first rumbles of the attack reached her ears. Panicked cries sounded through the guild as teams were woken up and sent out to combat the great beast that was roaming through the streets of the town square. It wasn't long before Holly was awake herself, and flying ahead with the other flying types as they neared the dragon pokemon. It seemed like a fight was already underway - and right in the middle of town square too! They would need to move fast if they wanted to end this before half the marketplace was destroyed as well. Folding in her wings, Holly pulled into a dive, aiming straight towards her opponent. It was time to end this thing, and quickly, and Holly wasn't about to let any monster destroy HER home! --- Holly uses TACKLE!

[Pascal]

Pascal the Swablu All that commotion was sure causing a ruckus! So much of one, in fact, that it reached Pascal, all the way in his room he had rented out at the Kanga Room. Well, this Swablu always liked an adventure! So it wasn't long before he had hopped out of his window and was winging towards the battle, looking around in an excited sort of curiosity as pokemon rushed out and about, all shooting attacks at this one rampaging dragon. Well, wasn't that quaint! A fight! Pascal wasn't quite sure what was going on, but why miss a good battle? He dove in, right after a noibat, clacking his beak threateningly at the druddigon in a way that might have been meant to be scary but just came across as adorable. Well, he did try, after all. --- Pascal uses GROWL!

"What in the worlds is all this ruckus?!"

The Kangaskhan stormed out of her inn at the first roar of battle. She didn't tolerate that sort of nonsense outside of her establishment, no sir! She paused, however, at the sight of the Druddigon and the pokemon frantically circling around and battling it. Ah.

Folding her arms, the innkeeper set up a stance in front of her inn, carefully keeping an eye on the battle to make sure it didn't get too close to her establishment. "Anyone who wants shelter from the battle, this way!" Judy called, gesturing to her inn. She would defend it to her life's breath, and that included its residents.

But that meant avoiding the heat of the battle, at least for now. So Judy contented herself to simply stand. And wait.

[Koshi]

Koshi the Great

After a full on day of exploring with his new team, Koshi had learned that it was harder than he thought to be a leader AND to look after two other nuisances... They weren't so bad, they did help him when he used Brave Bird too much and they could hold their own, even if Julia was a walking time bomb.

As he finally got to sleep after being so excited for what tomorrow would bring Koshi shot up at the sound of a nearby loud roar that came from the Town Square. Immediately he looked out the window and sure enough lights were on in the town and a second roar pierced the silence that was the night air.

Turning around immediately he whacked Maximus and Julia in the face with his wing, "Time to get up. Somethings happening we gotta go." Flapping his wings he started moving out of their room in the guild and out of the guild entirely, not waiting for his team to follow him. This was big, something that he was sure they'd get a big reward for if they took out what ever it was terrorizing the town.

Flying as fast as his little wings could take him Koshi flew close to the ground as he saw all the Pokemon that had come out to fight, fellow guild members and the rest. Watching as everyone started attacking he decided to do his part too, "Sand Attack!" He shouted flying up close to the beast and flapping his wings against the dirt, sending large amount of dust up into the Dragon's face.

With a smirk he flew up and around behind the beast ready for his next attack and to get into a better position.

A Beacon Bully

Things were not going well for Kaslin, first he failed his Dojo battle and only got to defeat one single Pokemon and even when he thought things were going well an he had made a friend in Van, things got worse again... He couldn't even go to relax anywhere outside the guild without being bullied and attacked by other Pokemon.

Kaslin was sobbing into his pillow, crying about the attack from the Emolga and crying because he was too weak to defend himself even if Vanitas did still decide to train him, he doubted he'd get any stronger. The tears flowing from his eyes and the small quiet sobs echoing out of his room Kaslin fell asleep.

A few hours later in the middle of the night Kaslin was awoken in fear as a loud roar emitted itself from the Town, a feeling of fear and worry took over him as he tried to close his eyes and not let it bother him. But hearing footsteps outside his door, guild mates that were going to go and see what was happening he let out a whine and got out of bed. Walking out through his door he could have sworn he saw Vanitas running, seems as though he was going to go fight the monster... Of course he was, he was strong and cool where Kaslin was not.

After a few minutes of self loathing Kaslin decided that he would go, if Vanitas was there he would be safe and if he stayed with the group no one would hurt him and it would prove that he was a part of the guild.

Running down it took Kaslin longer than most to make his way into the Town Square but once he made it he stopped in fear as he watched the giant dragon like Pokemon standing their in the middle of the town square and all these other Pokemon attacking him. The fear took over Kaslin and he closed his eyes, as he did a white aura surrounded the little pig and a white ball of energy shot from his snout firing straight into the dragon.

Level 6 / Synchronize / Growl, Confusion, Confuse Ray, Double Team

Ever since she had the incident when she was younger, nix found it hard to sleep on her own and this was well known. The guildmaster always made sure she had someone in her room but the plan didnt always work like that, the female nix had right now was very rude and did nothing to aid the shiny ralts as she slept and so the shiny often found herself wandering around the town late at night even though she didnt like the dark. Her eyes were bright as she wandered own the dark streets but a loud sound ahead of her made her jump, it was far too late to be making sounds like that!

she dashed forwards, taking a deep breath ready to shh the pokemon she could hear but she was met by something very different. She could see a large group of pokemon, well large group but small pokemon, all diving for one in the middle of the square. The one in the center did not seem with it and nix found herself shivering as its eyes met hers, this pokemon was not right. The ralts noted the inn keeper calling pokemon who werent ready to fight away and nix nodded her head, bright eyes flashing brighter and a wave of very small arms shooting a bright light from the ralts side to the dragon type. She wasnt very strong but she could help these pokemon!

I know what you don't know

'surprising' is not the best word to use when you are surprised out of your mind by a huge beast that seems to have no idea of what it's doing, except for destruction. It was, however, the only word Tinair could remember when she saw that, the thing. Her second thought, however, was a much more common thought for her. 

"Oh, what in the name of the sweet slithering snakes?"

her next thought was about how she could escape unharmed, but...

Her body was frozen where she first saw the monstrosity, her mind was already labelling her paths of action and their possible consequences. For a moment, all the people that were in battle right now turned into pieces in a game, a thought that made her giggle uncharacteristically for a moment, before sobering.

even if she survived this, the creature may come after them again. her best bet would be to help get rid of it, even if she was unwilling.

scowling, she muttered to no one in particular "You owe me one." and joined the fray, blasting the dragon-like thing with a dragon breath. She just hope she wasn't crushed.

Katey heard the tremendous roar and ran out of her shop, where she was still working on things. Upon leaving the shop, Katey found many Pokemon were fighting some big dragon Pokemon. But the dragon Pokemon was acting crazy. There was something wrong with it... Could this be.... Could this be what happens to Pokemon in the fog? Were all those stories true? Katey quickly charged out to the battle scene where it was all happening... The Pokemon seemed too strong for them to fight, even with the ice Pokemon they had on their team.

What should I do..... Hmmm... .Ahah! Katey decided she would use a Tail Whip attack on the big giant Pokemon, to lower it's defense, as well as to distract it. To beat this thing, it would seem as if they would need to drag it's stats down anyway it could, being attack or defense. Or even accuracy. Katey took a glance around the fighters, but then began to think... Wasn't there a way to cure these Pokemon in those old folk tales? Or no? Katey tried to figure out what to do, but was not able to come up with anything yet. Hmmmm..... Maybe we should just knock it out and go from there?

And that's what the others seemed to be doing. But if they were gonna win this battle, they would need more than just brute strength. Upon examining the fighters once more, Katey was able to spot out three clearly ice-type Pokemon. Those were the guys Katey had to keep safe if any of them were to survive, although Katey would protect anyone in the group if need be. The sneasel seemed to be the highest level out of all the Pokemon, and as a dark/ice type, that would also help a lot. From the attack it used on the dragon, it seemed it's best ice attack was ice punch. That meant that Katey would need to continue to decrease the enemy's defense so it could deal more damage to it, effectively knocking it out. So Katey had her Oran berry ready to give to the Sneasel.

The other two ice types, a Snover and a Swinub, also seemed like they would be of importance in this battle. There was also a dratini, which was also a dragon-type Pokemon, so it could potentially have a dragon-type move. But the problem with that was that dragon types did lots of damage to dragon types, so the dratini would be in harms way if the monster targeted it.

It seemed like Katey was majorly gonna be there to reduce the enemies strengths, and potentially reduce it's accuracy with a sand attack. Maybe with doing that, they had a good shot at knocking out the Pokemon. But it was a sad fact that Katey did not have anyway of reducing the enemy's attack power.

There were several flying Pokemon(Noibat, Swablu, Pidgey) that could make for distractions to the great beast to allow for the ice types and status inflictors to attack, potentially even paralyze it. Katey had seen an emolga in the crowd, which should be able to paralyze it....

This was all hoping that the Pokemon around her would be willing to help her take out this enemy, as well as do it wisely. "Hey guys! I can't let this thing hurt my shop or anyone's, or, well anything in town, so we need to end this quickly!" Katey smiled as she stepped back from the large Dragon pokemon and asked it, "Can you understand what I am saying? Does your brain still function?" Figuring out if the Pokemon still had some control over it's brain could help Katey in potentially curing it. "Can you hear me?" Katey stepped back from the dragon, just in case it took the words as "You want me to hurt you?".

Katey just really hoped they stopped this thing before it could damage anyone's houses or shops. Especially hoped it did not hurt her shop after her first day of being open. Constructing that again would be a lot of work, but it was possible. Katey looked over to the sneasel again and noticed it was the one who had purchased the lottery ticket the other day. Katey jumped hollered over to it, in a way that she was clearly talking to the Sneasel, "I have an oran berry in my inventory for if you get hurt! Just worry about fighting it. I'll lower it's accuracy and defense so you can defeat it! I believe in you!" Katey smiled. Maybe this Sneasel walking into her diner for lottery tickets was more than that. Maybe they were meant to be friends.

Friends in a world where walking into fog corrupted you, messed with your brain, turned you into-well-turned you into what the dragon was that stood before them. In a World like this, friends were needed. In a world like this where your dad dies when you're young, you need friends. In a world like this, you need friends to help you when you are hurt. In a world like this, you just need friends to talk to. Help you get through everyday life.

Katey really hoped someday it could cure this Pokemon, because the Pokemon in front of her is not the true Pokemon that it should be. In front of Katey was a chaotic corrupted dragon, that needed to be ended. This dragon does not deserve what is happening to it, but these Pokemon did not have a choice but to put an end to it.

To put an end to the chaotic, crazy, corrupted dragon.

Katey knew that if this Pokemon could be cured, she would do anything in her power to do so. She wanted to apologize to it for what was happening, but they needed to defend their town... Protect the people in need, protect the shop owners, protect anything and everything that needed protection. The town filled of shop owners, explorers, outlaws, kids, adults, teens, families, people with jobs, people that were still sleeping, they needed Katey. They needed Katey to protect their town.

And that was what she needed to do. Protect this town, protect their town, and.....

Protect my town.

Julia was just laying in her bed, dreaming pleasant dreams, and suddenly she was jerked awake by a face full of feathers. She spat out what felt long enough to be a primary feather and the first thing she said was, "Dangit Koshi, I'm going to pluck you clean and barbecue you over a grill!" she growled.

When there wasn't a response, she looked up and realized her teammate had already gone. And now that she listened, she could hear roars and the shouts of various attacks. All the telltale signs of a battle. "Oh what has that idiot gone and done now?" she grumbled to herself. Of course Julia knew it wasn't Koshi's fault- probably- but grumbling felt good to her.

She was still wiping sleep from her eyes when she exited the guild, and what she saw woke her up immediately. It was a pokemon she'd never seen before, and it was even bigger than Maximus. Julia wasn't a pokemon easily scared, not like the rest of her species, but even she was hesitant to attack this gargantuin.

Of course at that moment she realized that brown blob flying around it's head wasn't just any old pokemon, it was Koshi. All the fear drained from her until all she held was a bland exasperation, and she started her way down the sroad toward the full scale battle. "Of course. Of course KOSHI would be flying around it's head. Can't be some other stupid Pidgey with a death wish, no, it has to be MY stupid Pidgey with a death with... I'm going to have to save his tail feathers again. Can't believe I'm doing this. Ugh, he's lucky he's my teammate."

Julia stopped beside a random Dratini, who muttered to seemingly no one, "You owe me one." Already ill-tempered from the abrupt awakening, Julia snapped back, "Indeed, whatever would we do without you? Thank you, whoever-you-are, for helping us defend the place you live. We would truly be lost without your guidance!" She stepped away from the dragonbreath and took a deep breath, emitting a high-pitched growl.

for peace, it was no more 

wandering the night streets was not what jay preferred, on usual nights, but today was not a usual day. there had been a strange feeling in her bones, and untamed energy fizzling away. so, she had decided to take a walk. 

the town square was not on the route she had devised, not after the previous unfortunate incident that happened, but the shouting and roaring that she heard echoing through the streets seemed to have its source here, and, without a second thought, jaytin spread her wings and flew as fast as she could towards the statue that marked the town square. 

before she reached there, she heard more shouts and yells, and the sound of stomping feet. what was happening? it almost sounded like a riot. and then she arrived

all chaos broke out inside her head when she saw the vast creature, more than five times her size, roar at the significantly smaller pokemon rushing about. most she didn't recognise. there was, however, two that she did, even though she had only looked quickly. the ralts she argued with, and the eevee. perhaps she wasn't going to pay attention to the ralts, but the eevee, katey was another matter. she could hear words spilling out of her mouth, asking the horrendous dragon something."it's not going to listen!" she shouted, terrified that someone would get hurt, and not just those who were in the square either. "if it did, it wouldn't be attacking."

she had dove down slightly to speak to the eevee, but now she flew up again, hopefully out of the druddigon's range. she would help no one if she got hurt, and one swipe of those claws, and she would hit the ground, unconscious. her most important problem was not about her self, however, but about the safety of her brothers. 

they shouldn't be here, she knew, but there was that chance. especially her younger brother. "if i catch them, i'm going to give them a hiding." she muttered darkly. most of her attention was on the roaring creature, though. 

there were plenty of pokemon here, but would it be enough to destroy the beast? most likely not. their best bet would be to distract the creature and lead it away, if possible, away from where civilians, especially her brothers, could get hurt. what could she do? she was really just a small bird, laughably small compared to the druddigon. all she could do was to help others defend against it, but there was something on her mind that was more important.

"all civilians and those not accustomed to fighting should-must leave!" she shouted to those who were listening. it was far too dangerous than just any rogue pokemon. she would do what she could to stop it from destroying her home, but the main thing was to make sure everyone was safe.

what she was most worried about was everyone's ability to dodge. she was pretty fast, she knew, and she could fly, but others weren't so lucky. she could help, though, couldn't she?

putting on a extra burst of speed, as fast as she thought she could manage, she rushed past all of the other pokemon fighting, and most of those who weren't fighting as well, knowing that the burst of air she was creating would help those who need to escape escape, and make those who are fighting faster.

[Cloud]

The day was a busy and exhausting one for Cloud. Going into the fog, coming out, helping around the guild. All day. Normally, Cloud would take a lot of naps in between the tasks assigned for him. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible. Tasks were assigned to the Sandile as soon as first was completed. There was no time for sleeping the day away. So he did what he was told and waited until the sun fell and the moon rose to get his much desired shut eye.

Unfortunately, tonight seemed to be the worst time to want that.

As the reptile slept soundly in his room, a roar filled the sky, filling those who heard it with the sense that there is danger. Though it may be expected of explorers to immediately get up and deal with this threat, it took Cloud a full minute to raise his head to see the several explorers that woke him. It took him another full minute to get up and head out to find out what had caused such a ruckus in the guild. Following the explorers to the cause, the reptile laid his dark rimmed eyes on the Dragon rampaging through the town square. ”Huh…” Cloud sleepily mumbled to nobody but himself, ”So that’s what’s causing this commotion…”

Since he was there, Cloud figured he should help the various pokemon fighting the beast. So, he simply walked up to the Drudinggon and opened his mouth wide as if he were going to give one of his signature yawns, only to snap his mouth shut in an attempt to sink his teeth into the dragon. While it wasn’t most tactful of moves, Cloud wasn’t exactly a Pokemon known for doing skillful things.

[Roamer]

Curled up in his own bed, tail slightly alit, laid Roamer. The Charmander was sleeping peacefully until there was a noise outside; a loud and insane roar. Roamer sat up, his flame instantly becoming stronger.
"What was that?" He asked himself, rubbing his eyes before shuffling to the window. He didn't have a perfect view of the Town Square, but what he could see were pokémon standing in their doorways- some pokémon were shaking, others were running towards the commotion.

Something must've happened, the Charmander thought- and immediately left his cottage.
He saw lots of pokémon running towards the Town Square, they looked like explorers so.. that meant something was really wrong.

Roamer ended up running towards the Town Square, jaw dropping as he noticed an insane looking Druddigon rampaging Andalusst. The Charmander realized- this was one of the victims of the fog.
He then saw Vanitas, striking the dragon with an Ice Punch- and several other pokémon he didn't know.

The young fire pokémon stormed over to the battle, and struck it with a Metal Claw.
