Ranulfr's smirk was cut short by a roar of pain as the Swampert shot forward, intercepting his attack with a Mirror Coat. He snarled at Johaan and lurched forward, only to freeze as he caught sight of kargo . This seemed to make Ranulfr hesitate, as he stared down the floatzel with a look of hatred. He perhaps should have been paying better attention though, for Jahla 's Ice attack caused him to fall backwards, roaring in agony. The other attacks hardly registered through the searing pain... the druddigon fell to the ground, Ice Crystals forming around where Jahla's punch had hit him. He sort of curled up now, face wincing in pain, not even noticing as pokemon after pokemon continued the assault. And just like that...something in his mind cleared away. Ranulfr's eyes squeezed shut, then opened, staring around him with confusion. "Wh-what's going on?" he groaned, curling up slightly into the fetal position. He saw the looming figures of pokemon around him and stared in confused pain. "Where...why..." he winced then, and curled up tighter, looking up at the pokemon around him. "P-please don't kill me! I don't know- I didn't do anything wrong!"And there they had it.. the beast was defeated. But what would be done with him now? Would he be shown mercy? Or killed for his crimes... Ranulfr is defeated! But there's one more thing that needs to happen... You decide what happens next! Anyone can make the decision to kill or spare Ranulfr, just rp here!WORDS ● TAGGED ● NOTES

// For Peace was no more//Why of all the nerve..!
Domino felt her mouth fall open after her ThunderShock ended as each and every attack made their mark with precise in all directions. With the presence of the Guildmasters, the Emolga finally noticed just how incredible the massive amounts of attacks being launched at the dragon was. It was enough to completely wipe off the smirk off of his face. Even though these mysterious strangers were much more effective than Domino or any of the other Pokemon, they still had to have some impact on bringing this beast down.
The attacks seemed to finally overwhelm the Druddigon until the exhausted creature fell over with a large thud. That in and of itself was intense enough to get the Emolga to gasp and flinch. Honestly she wasn’t expecting the battle to be over that quickly. She was ready to fight for several more hour even. Not that she wanted to, but she was definitely prepared for that.
Still, the Emolga wasn’t about to let her guard down. Keeping her eyes on the beast, electricity began to dance around her once again in case the beast were to stand up again, which he did, but instead of attacking in the rage she was just about to unleash, Domino stopped herself. The Emolga stared in disbelief at the display in front of her. Here he was, rampaging a city just trying to get some well-deserved rest from whatever their schedules had brought them their previous days.
He had the nerve to wake them up, and attack them without so much as an apology. He almost grabbed Domino, and who knows what he would’ve done if he did that?! But worst of all, he put her in yet another situation where Domino had to be saved by that WEASEL? And he had the unmitigated gall to beg THEM for MERCY?! The thought… It just made her sick! Well, perhaps killing the creature was a bit much, but he deserved SOME kind of punishment! Domino’s anger was almost at its boiling point. She was about to unleash quite the ferocious ThunderShock, when suddenly her face softened a bit.
Not out of sympathy, mind you! It was something much less insane than that. The electricity slowly dialed down as Domino took in little huffs of breaths, when suddenly, “Aaahh…” Domino’s mouth gaped open wide, letting out a surprisingly cute little yawn. Smacking her mouth together, she felt like she was way too tired to actually follow through with her rage. Honestly after all of this massive struggle, the Emolga forgot just how tired she was. Spreading her flaps out, Domino glided away from the scene and back into the group of trees she had been previously nestled in.
In fact, she landed in precisely the very tree she had been sleeping in before this whole mess started. Maybe she would be angry tomorrow…

"...Ah?" Maximus halted just inches away from the Druddigon, jaws still cracked wide and crackling. What just... what just happened? Where did the raging monster go? The Pokemon that now sat in the dirt, cowering in fear, hardly resembled the angry dragon from just a second ago. Maximus slowly closed his jaws, dispelling the electricity with a wave of his head. He knit his brows together in confusion. "You... You don't know what's going on?" But that wasn't possible! How could you rampage through an entire town without knowing! How could you attack an entire community of Pokemon without realizing! How could you nearly kill me without noticing. His head was starting to hurt. But... no matter how much of a bad guy Ranulfr had been, Maximus couldn't deny feeling like he couldn't persecute the Druddigon. At least not now, as he shrank in on himself and begged for mercy. After all, bullying a defenseless Pokemon wasn't a very explorer-esque thing to do, was it? He looked over at the other Pokemon gathered in the Square. His eyes traveled over all the strangers, then to the mystery Pokemon--then they settled on Koshi and Julia. He stood staring at them for a long time, his eyes reflecting the uncertainty he felt in his heart; then, taking a deep breath, he turned back to Ranulfr and looked at the ground. "I... I don't know what's going on," he said, "but I don't... I don't think we should keep fighting like this. It doesn't feel right, guys."

If Aloise had teeth, she'd be grinding them right now.
"We shouldn't keep fighting"? Why not? Why did this goody two-shoes think that would be a good idea? This monster would have destroyed the town if the Guildmasters (she admitted, grudgingly) hadn't showed up when they did. He would have decimated the place; killed people; turned the survivors away into the wilderness, where certain death or insanity awaited. As far as Aloise could tell, the Druddigon deserved to die.
But she wasn't about to bring attention to herself by stepping forward to challenge the Tyrunt. It was bad enough that she'd willingly put herself in the middle of a bunch of Explorers--and their Guildmasters!--by helping in the battle. If she put the spotlight on herself now, someone would surely recognize her. Then she'd be the new target.
Aloise swallowed the angry words that threatened to bubble up from her throat. Let the other Pokemon argue about this; she had to get out of here, stat. She drifted backwards as nonchalantly as possible, taking care not to go too fast and risk being noticed. As she approached the edge of the square, the Cottonee looked around to make sure nobody was watching. Right. Time to book it.
She turned tail and fled.
ALOISE chose to SPARE RANULFR (I think?)!

for peace, it was no more Knocked back by the rough hide of her opponent, Jaytin lost awareness of her surroundings for one moment. Flapping blindly to escape from the possible attack, she took several seconds to realise what was going around her.
The battle seemed over, three somewhat familiar figures appearing out of nowhere. As she scrutinised their faces, she gave a jolt. Didn't she know them? Of course she did.
The druddigon was no match for them, once the three turned up. She dove in, ready to help them, but something had changed...
the monster didn't seem inclined to fight anymore, its sanity returning. She wavered. The Pokemon seemed more scared than angry, not someone she would want to destroy. Even so, surely he deserved some kind of punishment?
a second glance into the eye of the beast destroyed that idea. No, something strange was at work here, and she was not one to deal with strange things. Better to wash her hands of the affair. Leave the important choices to others. All she wanted was for everyone to be safe. Let the druddigon live, why did it matter? and you think anything else will be? 214 words, jaytin spares the druddigon ©tyrnn, can be used on EoTF [googlefont="raleway"]

Level 6 / Synchronize / Growl, Confusion, Confuse Ray, Double Team Honestly, nix wasnt really paying any attention to the other pokemon who were here now. Sure, they were strong and they held the guild so they were to be watched and noted but nix had been a little too focused on the words from the other pokemon. It had spoken, well now it had been knocked out it seemed it had gotten itself together again and was speaking again and nix frowned. Was this some act? She didnt like to assume the worst of pokemon but she also had seen enough nastiness to make her pause in her life, she lifted her head and looked around at the other fighters and then back to the pokemon before her. She didnt want to hurt him, but she really hoped someone kept an eye on him anyway because no one had yet to come back from the fog and be alright so that was not a goo sign. He could be the first, he could be healed, but they had no way to know.

I know what you don't know Her energy had retured, after a bit of resting. Now, she could rejoin the battle. Slithering out from her hiding place, she was greeted with a strange sight.
No one seemed to be fighting anymore, and the monster seemed to have... disappeared? no, it had fallen. The arrival of the three new pokemon seemed to have vanquished the druddigon. So why wasn't there more cheering?
She slided forward to find out why, and found quite a few people crowded around the fallen beast. No one seemed inclined to kill it. That... was strange. Truly, she should be going by now. Outlaws didn't exactly mix well with others, but this made her curious enough to stay.
"Well?" She demanded, eyes narrowed. "What are we going to do with it? I say kill it. If he can go crazy once, he can go crazy again. Get rid of him. Throw him back from where he came from, lock him up, finish him off! He would have done the same to us if he had the chance. He doesn't deserve to live."
She wasn't sure if anyone else wanted to kill the thing, but she did. He was trouble, and unnecessary. Better to kill him than have trouble on her hand again.

Post by Vanitas on Jun 29, 2016 12:01:20 GMT
Van held his ground in awe as the Druddigon got vanquished, amazed by the incredible strength and speed Jahla had displayed. She was the strongest of his sub-species he knew; no the strongest pokemon he had even seen. The ease and grace she utilized to vanquish the foe was inspireing to Van, fueling him with the determination to push himself so far as to reach a fraction of her power. Perhabs... he could try to approach her and... ask her for... training... maybe; no? Shaking his head, he tried to push the thoughts aside as he beheld the Druddigon fall to the ground. This had been the end of the fight, but not the beast's end. Quietly, with folded arms, he observed the situation. He was almost fascinated by the fact that the Druddigon started to... speak and display emotions. Was it somehow freed from the effects of the fog? But how was that possible? Did they only need a beating outside of the fog to become non-feral again? If that was the case, they had another clue on how to vanquish the fog. Seeing the Druddigon all curled up and whining... it made Van raise his eyebrows with a frown. Great... now he kind of felt bad, despite knowing he had done the right thing. The dragon pokemon had apparently no recollection of what had just happened, which bewildered Van somewhat. The fog really was like an awake nightmare. But now the Druddigon was awake, and it begged for the pain to stop; he begged for them to stop. "It had never been your fault." He stated somewhat quietly, calmly walking over to him with no tension left in his stance. There was no reason to hurt this innocent pokemon, and the others realized that as well. He was no threat, and they were a civil culture. And Van was confident the guildmaster's team would agree with that stance. There was... one exception however. There was a very hostile Dratini, Tinair , who wished to see the Druddigon's end just to make sure it would be no more threat. Van carried a very grave expression when he approached the Dratini, his talons engulfed in a faint aura of ice. He stood for a few seconds in front of it, staring it in the eyes, before calmly speaking up. "Don't you see? The Druddigon was under the effect of a curse which temporarily claimed its mind. You on the other hand would willingly choose to get rid off the victim, not the curse that is most likely the fog itself." He speculated openly, feeling confident that the fog was responsible for pokemons going feral. He turned his head back to the Dratini, still remaining as cold as before. "What would you expect if you were under the influence of something like this. Would you request an execution? Of course you would not. So just quit it. We already have problems with the fog as it is..." He demanded from the Dratini to drop its act. He turned away from it and walked back towards the Druddigon. "... we don't need sane pokemons being even greater monsters than what the fog spawns." He indirectly insulted the Dratini for his feral behaviour while also warning the others to recognize that they too could be just like the fog-tained... savage. He knelt down next to the Druddigon and attempted to look it into its eyes. "Do you need medical treatment?" He asked it, offering his assistance if it needed it.

Roamer was watching in horror as the Purrlion was being raised into the air- but.. suddenly a large figure intercepted the Druddigon's deadly attack, freeing the pokémon from his grip. The Charmander stood frozen in place, as two other figures made the scene- a Floatzel and a Weavile. Wait.. these were.. the Guildmasters? There were more than one? And they didn't even have the time to assign a team to Vanitas?! How rude! The Charmander was about to object until the Floatzel healed the fallen Tyrunt, who seemed very confused about it all. The Floatzel told everyone to not lose hope, and continue attacking the beast. And that's what they all did, attacking the Druddigon that was rampaging the town. The Weavile striking it with an ice punch- causing the large dragon to collapse and cry out in pain. But.. then the dragon started talking and whimpering.. and crying.. and begging for mercy?! Roamer's eyes widened and he approached the bunch that were talking to each other. Everyone was sparing the druddigon- but then a Dratini intervened, stating that this pokémon had to be punished and killed for his deeds. Vanitas was the first one to coldly tell her to back down, telling her to quit it and be reasonable. "I-.." He started- no, no time for cowardice. He attacked the Druddigon, he was brave. "I agree with Vanitas." Roamer said, stepping next to the Sneasel, in front of the Druddigon. "He doesn't know what's going on, all he does know is that we're attacking him. We should give him a chance, perhaps put him in custody to ask him questions." Which made sense. Roamer wanted to know what this fog actually was, maybe the Druddigon's mind would soon clear up and he would remember everything again. Then they could interrogate him for further knowledge. "I won't let you kill him." The Charmander then said, turning his head as Vanitas asked the Druddigon if he needed medical treatment. ### | @tag | notes ulla

Raimo watched in surprise as a blue blur saved the Purrlion from the Druddigon, but even more when two other pokémon made the scene. They looked strong, stronger than everyone else here. Even the Sneasel..
Though when the Weavile struck the pokémon with an ice punch and it collapsed- the Riolu panicked. Was this how the infected were going to be treated? Raimo hoped his mother and father were okay.. despite them being stuck in the fog. The last time he wanted was for them to suffer.
Though then- the infected pokémon reacted differently. it was.. almost normal? It was crying, whimpering and begging for them not to kill him. Did this mean.. that the infected pokémon could be cured?
All the other pokémon seemed to be just as confused as he was, and they decided to spare him- too! Everyone but a Dratini, however the Sneasel and a Charmander tended to that pokémon.
Raimo came closer to the Druddigon, curled into a fetal position. He watched as the Sneasel asked if he needed medical treatment, and Raimo looked scared for a moment. He wondered if the Druddigon knew anything about his father.
Slowly, he stepped forward, giving a hesitating look at the Sneasel. He hoped the Druddigon wouldn't suddenly attack him again. "I.. I want to find my mother and father.." He said, now looking at the Druddigon. "So far you're the closest I'll have to knowing what happened to them.. do you have any memories while you were in the fog?" He knew that it was a long shot, but this pokémon was probably one step closer to finding out what happened.

▲ Johaan slowly approached the crowd that was now gathering around the fallen Druddigon, the Swampert smiled in a rather endearing way until he stopped in front of Ranulfr. Surely he understood the members concern, but wasn't this a simple pokémon they were about to kill? The Swampert placed a hand on Ranulfr's leg, hoping he wouldn't hurt the poor fellow. "What is your name, pal?" Johaan asked, with a rather expecting look. He wanted to show the town members that this pokémon had a life, a family- somewhere. This wasn't a beast, the fog made him one. "I mean.. surely you remember your name, right?" The Swampert then turned to look at Tinair , who didn't seem to agree with them for sparing the Druddigon. "Look at it this way, the Charmander was right. If we put him into custody, and start examining him. We might learn more about the fog." He then looked at his team members, Kargo and Jahla. "This is the first time we actually have someone break out of the fog's curse. I think that's quite the achievement. All that Johaan was trying to do, was keeping everyone's hopes up. Even though the Swampert didn't like admitting it, he was afraid. What if more pokémon from the fog entered Andalusst? Was Team Dynasty forced to take desperate measures? Like closing off the town? @ tag ● # # # ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS

❝ | Your mind is just a program And I'm the virus I'm changing the station I'll improve your thresholds I'll turn you into a super drone And you will kill on my command And I won't be responsible And asks no questions | ❞ |
Ranulfr noticed Domino flying off to the tree she had been sleeping in before he started rampaging the town, apparently she didn't care about killing him off or anything- for which he was glad. He had no memory of what had happened, all he saw were pokémon trying to kill him. The Druddigon wavered between passing out and staying conscious. However, Maximus 's voice brought him back to the living. The Tyrunt asked if he really didn't know what was going on. The Druddigon managed to nod, just slightly through the pain. "Y-yes.. I don't.. I don't remember.. why- why are you.." He winced, taking a breather. His body felt weak and sort of like pudding- he could barely move. Though as the Tyrunt said that they shouldn't keep fighting, the Druddigon managed to smile- just weakly. "Th-thank you.. " He mustered, looking at the Tyrunt with remorse. Just.. looking at the little fellow made him feel awkward, like- something had happened between them. Something unpleasant. Some pokémon were fleeing, like Aloise for example. He really didn't want to scare her, he- remembered her.. at least for a little. He remembered her crying. Ranulfr tried to get up, struggling to speak. "W-wait, you- are you okay?" He tried to ask the fleeing Cottonee. Ranulfr was afraid that he had frightened the poor pokémon. Which wasn't his intention. "W-wait.." He repeated, as she fled away. "I remember you.. crying.." He slowly whispered, slumping back down. He felt the eyes of every pokémon piercing him, including the Fletchling that didn't look like she wanted to forgive him. However as he returned the gaze that she gave him, he noticed that there had been a change in her eyes. Was it.. mercy? Was she forgiving him? @nixnight was looking at him as well, Ranulfr didn't notice it at first because the eyes of a Ralts were always shielded by that odd looking headgear. However, the words of the Dratini were the ones that truly stung. He had no idea what he had done wrong, but following the Dratini's words- he had gone crazy. She wanted to get rid of him, throw him back to wherever he had come from. She wanted to lock him up, finish him off- Ranulfr tried getting up right again. "I'm- really sorry." Ranulfr said, looking at Tinair as he apologized. "I don't.. know what I did.. but please don't keep me in the dark..?" He obviously meant that he wanted to know what he had done to upset the town so much. Though the Sneasel Vanitas said that he had been under the effect of a curse. A curse that- temporarily claimed his mind? "A.. curse? I was under a curse?" He stammered, trying to look back into his memory- hoping to find just a bit to tell him what had happened. While Vanitas was still speaking to the other members, Ranulfr didn't seem to recall any memories of how he had ended up here. He looked up when the Sneasel asked if he needed medical treatment. Ranulfr carefully nodded, he could only remain awake for so long. "Please.." He begged, looking slightly distressed. Then the voice of a young Charmander broke through the crowds whispering and chattering. Roamer stepped up next to the Sneasel, putting a few options on to the table by putting Ranulfr into custody- perhaps interrogate him. "I would.. gladly tell you anything I know.." He replied, hoping to keep himself alive. Now a Riolu also stepped up, but instead of joining the Sneasel and the Charmander, he walked up to him. Ranulfr looked at Raimo , as the young pokémon told him he wanted to find his mother and father. He saw the pain in the young ones eyes. "I.. I don't recall anything.. I'm sorry.." Ranulfr said, looking down to avoid the saddened gaze of the Riolu. Then one of the pokémon that had knocked the Druddigon down started to speak. Asking him his name. "My name..?" the Druddigon looked up, staring at the town members in shame. "My name is Ranulfr.." The Swampert seemed to agree that putting him in custody would be a better idea than killing him off. Ranulfr took a relieved breath, at least they weren't going to kill him.. yet. Vanitas smiled when his partner in crime Roamer backed him up, stating basically what everyone but the most foul among them was thinking. And he additionally stated his will to stop anyone who wished the to do the Druddigon injust harm, making Van feel proud of the Charmaner. From the shy and unconfident little lizard to the brave and confident young dragon in such a short time... delightful. And as expected, the masters of the guild were supporting the two of them, making the decision clear as day. Continueing to listen to Ranulfr , the Sneasel tried to make sense out of this situation. It was unfortunate that the injured Druddigon seemed to suffer from amnesia, but perhabs there were methods to retrieve his memory. There was also both a lot of guilt and gratitude in the Druddigon's voice, feeling remorse for what he had done in his frenzy while appreciating them being kind and understanding towards him. Behind this beast of a body... this pokemon appeared to be rather gentle. But even gentle giants could be corrupted by the fog like that... "Curse is maybe not the right word. We still need to understand everything." He stated at the Druddigon, trying to calm it down a little. Ranulfr would help as much as he could, but he needed to be brought back to shape first. They were interrupted by a Riolu named Raimo , which made Van frown. "Hey, this is not the right time, okay? Questioning comes after the treating, got it?" He requested the Riolu with a calm voice to drop his personal desires until the Druddigon was feeling well again. Nodding towards Johaan , he bravely turned to the three guildmasters like he was talking with equals. Of course he was not, but he felt like having to act that way. "Would and could you share any items to sustain Ranulfr so we can safely bring him to a place to rest?" He requested their support one more time.

Post by Jahla on Jul 1, 2016 19:37:42 GMT
A grin found it's way to the Weavile's face as a thump was heard behind her, testament to her powerful attack on the rampaging Druddigon. She turned on alabaster heels and showed sharp, white teeth in her toothy smile. Crimson eyes locked on the limp form of Ranulfr, placing her clawed hands on her hips as she watched the large monster raise it's head in confusion. Her smile slowly lost it's girth as she heard it's scared, confused voice, a frown soon taking residence on her maw. Jahla might have a surprisingly cruel nature, but she was not cruel enough to not show empathy for the clearly struggling Pokemon. With blinding speed, the Weavile crossed over to johaan with a frown, swaying as she stood beside her fellow Guildmaster. "The poor guy doesn't seem too murder-y now.' she remarked, sending up a smile to the Swampert as he spoke of the accomplishment. "Yes! Kargo, ya' dang Floatzel, get over here!" she called to the last guildmaster, motioning him forwards with a hand signal. While Jahla wasn't opposed to ending the thing's life, nor was she opposed to sparing it, but she knew she didn't have the power to sway the mind of a crowd so she simply turned and listened to their frenzied conversations. She only turned back when a Sneasel addressed Johaan, leading the Weavile to beam brightly at him. "Aww you're cute!! Of course we have stuff, we didn't come over here underprepared." well, if it hadn't been for Kargo, they probably would have come over underprepared, but that was besides the point. Unwrapping the coat from her neck, Jahla soon took out an Oran Berry from a pocket, then swiftly bounded voer to the fallen Druddigon. She doubted it would fully restore the Pokemon, but it might at least numb the pain. She placed the small berry before him, offering a wide, sly smile. I know what you don't know No one seemed to agree with Tinair, many openly protesting. That was to be expected, of course. Most Pokemon were filled with compassion, that lead them to always choose the most supposedly 'humane' way of dealing with things, and never thought to think of the future. She could reason with them. It wouldn't take too long, whether they accept it or not.
"Those of you who fight in dungeons, don't you kill the beasts in them without a second thought? Why is this beast any different?" Her voice rang cold and clear through the air, with no emotions shown. "He hasn't done anything to prove that he has changed. The best action is always the one that benefits the most people, even if it means harming one person. He might go crazy again, and we cannot risk that." A simple flick of her tail included those who didn't seem to have an idea into the conversation. Somehow, people always felt their idea was right when they were a part of a group. That was what she needed.
"Keeping him alive means keeping him under lock and guard. Is that any better?" She turned to face the sneasle, Vanitas , who had asked her a question. "If I was in the same situation, you can execute me yourself." She said, quietly, a hint of steel in her voice. "I have had bad experiences with these sort of beasts. I don't want any more of them. If you must keep him alive, don't let him out. Ever." To her final sentence, she added a touch of sadness. Some of what she said was true, much of it was false, but still following her beliefs. She did not suffer those injuries for nothing.
For her, though, it was time to leave. With an ironic bow to the three guildmasters and most of the crowd, Tinair left, as silently as she had arrived.
