You step into a large room with thickly clustered, rotting undergrowth making the walls around you. The trees droop in silence, the mulch underfoot sinks with every step, and the uncanny quietness that surrounds the whole place is unnerving. However, looking around reveals that you had entered in a room that held the stairs. Score!

Koshi the Great Appearing in the dungeon Koshi looked to his two comrades, puffing out his chest and raising his head high he looked at the two of them, the Togepi being the same size and the Tyrunt doubling his size in every way. "Ok you two, don't hold me back. This is my first real mission and I don't care to fail it because of a knuckle head." His eyes glared at Maximus the Tyrunt, this guy was a giant oaf, though he was extremely strong there was no denying it but Koshi could swear that if he looked in through one of his ears, he'd see right through his head. Julia on the other hand, the Togepi was the brains, she was also the one that wouldn't let them get too ahead of themselves. Flapping his wings and moving into the air, Koshi looked around the mulch and mud dripping from his feet as he flew into the air. He looked around, there were so many paths which were sure to be full of other wild Pokemon who would want to fight them. Though their job was to go to the 3rd floor and find a Stun Seed... What was more important. "There's the stairs..." he said Pointing at the stairs next to Maximus as he spun around to face the other side of the room. "But look at all these paths, I bet there will be something cool out there. What do you guys think?"

Anybody that knew Julia would attest to the fact that she was anything BUT a girly girl. She didn't turn her nose up at getting dirty, she cursed and burped and spat and snorted. All things the exact opposite of what a girly girl would do.
Yet even she had to sneer at how unimpressive this particular dungeon was. It was disgusting. The undergrowth was rotting mere feet away from her, making the air smell musty and moldy. The trees drooped as if they were holding the sky up and any second they'd give way. The ground, oh Arceus, the ground! Every footstep sank into the soft dirt. Julia didn't even want to think of how they'd get Max the entire way through the dungeon without having to pull him out.
While she'd been distracted with observations of their surroundings, Koshi had gone on a quick fly through of the room to get a good looksee around. He pointed out the stairs, right next to Maximus, and asked what they thought.
Julia made a humming sound, actually thinking it through. "On one hand, we wouldn't be very good explorers if we didn't explore... On the other hand, we might lose Max to the mud. We also wouldn't be very good explorers if our teammate died on the first floor of our first dungeon. So it's more a question of which we value more, adventure or Max's life."
A brief pause and Julia gave Maximus a teasing glance. "I vote adventure."

Maximus decided he did not like the forest. Like, at all.
For one, it smelled weird. He didn't know what unholy combination of rotting plant matter came together to make this stench, but he sure as hell didn't wanna find out. It was already hard enough to think of anything besides the undergrowth--the way it squelched underfoot and released an odor powerful enough to kill a Muk--that he could barely focus on the mission at hand; he felt that he'd puke if he spent so much as another iota of energy thinking about.
For another, it was so gloomy. It was as if all the life had been sucked out of the area, leaving the forest empty and eerily still. No matter how hard he listened, he couldn't hear anything snuffling through the undergrowth or flapping in the canopy above. Even the trees--the trees!!--looked dead and lifeless.
And, of course, there was the fact that he was sinking. Not like, at an alarming rate or anything, but he could feel his feet descend deeper and deeper into the mud with every step he took. The sensation of the mulch going between his toes made him queasy. If only he were as light as Koshi; maybe then he wouldn't be getting muck all over his feet.
Speaking of Koshi, the bird brain really liked to get on Max's nerves, didn't he? "Yeah, right, as if you could pull this off by yourself." Max shot the Pidgey a glare. "I mean. I could, of course. But you'd be toast. Toaster than toast, even."
But it seemed like the Pidgey hadn't paid any mind to anything he'd just said, because in the next moment he took off into the air and started to circle the area. A moment later he pointed to a spot right behind Max, and the Tyrunt turned around to take a look--
Oh, would you look at that. The stairs.
"Score!" He stamped his foot into the ground in triumph, only realizing how bad of an idea this was when his foot connected and sent mud flying in every direction, unceremoniously splattering his legs and underbelly. He grimaced. "Eeewwww. Grooooss."
He set to work scraping the mulch off his body, but paused when Julia spoke. "Hey! I'm not gonna die!" He straightened up to face the Togepi, indignation making his brow crease and the corners of his mouth turn down. "Just 'cause I'm bigger than you doesn't mean I'm gonna sink into the mud." I hope. "And I'll prove it! Let's explore first!" Without giving the others a chance to respond, he turned to the east and struck out for the closest path.
Julia Koshi(( he's headed for the topmost path on the right wall, but you guys can stop him if you want to ))

Whether you decided to stop the thunderous Tyrunt, you reached a narrow, small room after a few turns in a tight pathway. As the three of you got further away from the previous room, the ground became more solid, and instead of sinking into it, you could stomp around without fear of splashing yourself with mud and mulch. However, it seemed a new problem had arisen; a Hoppip glared at the three of you angrily, clicking it's vice and swirling it's propeller-like stem in a feeble attempt to take flight. You could definitely attack first, this thing is moving pretty slowly.

Koshi the Great Laughing at Julia's response he nodded and was about to turn around when Maximus decided he had an idea and stomped off to another path. "Hey I'm the leader you can't go picking paths!" He flew over to where Maximus was heading and made his way down the narrow path first, he wasn't going to let this overgrown lizard take his spotlight the first opponent he sees he was going to brave bird and destroy in one go. Once he entered the room Koshi looked around, blinking a few times as he scanned the room. Seeing the Hoppip who looked angry he let out a laugh and turned to see if Maximus and Julia had made it yet. Once they had entered the room he flew up into the air, "My first win!" He shouted as he did a flip in the air and turned blue as he rushed at hoppip with all his speed, "Brave Bird!" He shouted as he collided with the Hoppip, feeling the pain of the impact he closed his eyes. Did he do it? Did he one hit K.O the Pokemon?

For however impulsive she knew Max was, she certainly didn't expect him go charging off to one the hallways by himself. "What they, HEY, GET BACK HERE!" Julia called out, leaping forward to grab a hold of him. Of course with the size difference between the two, all Julia manged to do was cling tightly to his back hair/spikes while he ran.
Julia held her eyes shut to keep from getting dizzy. It wasn't so much that Max was going too fast, but that she wasn't used to this kind of speed. Tyrunts had longer, sturdier legs than Togepis did. So her options were either be left behind to catch up on her own or risk getting sick all over Max's back.
She did, however, noticed how the floor got sturdier. Risking it, Julia opened her eyes to look down and saw how firmer the ground was here. It wasn't as marshy or wet. Wouldn't it be just their luck that the stairs were in the only peaty room on the dungeon? A shout from Koshi made her look up to see Koshi heading in the direction of an angry-looking Hoppip.
Frowning a little at the head start of the Pidgey, Julia slid down to the floor and started a Metronome attack. She pulled all the anger and frustration held inside her egg-shaped body and focused on one chant, 'Flamethrower, flamethrower, flamethrower!' Her arms grew brighter with each wave, and Julia froze, waiting for whatever attack came from her least favorite move.

"You're not the leader here! I am!" Maximus turned his head and stuck his tongue at out Koshi. "And I'm going this way! ...Oh, hi Julia."
The Tyrunt couldn't help but snort at the sight of the little Togepi clinging to his back for her goddamn life. Sure, he was still irritated at the quip she'd made at his expense, but... well. It certainly did help his mood to see her look so freaked out. He decided that he'd let her hitch a ride for a little while longer.
It wasn't long before Maximus emerged into a clearing. The ground here was much more solid, thank god. An appreciative rumble bubbled out of his throat, and he started to scrape the mud that clung to his foot onto the ground.
"My first win!"
Koshi's exclamation made Maximus whip his head up, suddenly alert. He felt Julia sliding off his back at the same time--what was going on?
He eyed Koshi in the air, readying an attack. The Pidgey was clearly focusing on something up ahead, and Max followed his teammate's gaze--a-ha! An enemy!
Without thinking, he charged off towards the Hoppip, his jaws opened wide as he whooped the team's preemptive victory. "Out of the way, Koshi!" he said, lowering his head to ram the Hoppip. "I'm gonna save the day. Me! Maximus!"

Koshi used Brave Bird on Hoppip! It was super effective!Hoppip Health - 0/18 Koshi Health - 24/26 Before the Hoppip could even react, Koshi was flying at it at full speed. Letting out a shocked cry, the pink Pokemon was barelled into, letting out an agonized whimper as it hit the dark, springy grass below. It disappeared immediately, only leaving a puff of fog in it's wake. Koshi earned 42 exp points!Julia earned 42 exp points!Maximus earned 42 exp points!

Koshi the Great The feeling of hitting the Hoppip wasn't as bad as he thought as he completely destroyed it just like the Pokemon in the Dojo it turning into a puff of fog. He turned around to smile at his companions but noticed that they had both started to attack and in an act of triumph he laughed at them, falling to the ground still laughing on his back. "You guys thought that I would need your help with a Hoppip!?" Tears began to well up in the corner of his eyes, "Pleeaaase! There's a reason why i'm the leader, it's because I'm the strongest! Now, let's continue! and please try to keep up." He flapped his wings and started down the pathway to the right going north, hopefully there would be more Pokemon to fight and his team would be able to see how strong he was even more.

Julia looked away at the explosion of the Brave Bird and looked back when the dust had settled. The Hoppip was nowhere to be seen, no doubt blown to bits by Koshi's attack. The Pidgey didn't even seem to feel the recoil, though there obviously had to be SOME damage... She hoped he didn't overdo it with that attack though. The last thing she wanted was for him to faint.
That sentiment died almost as quickly as that Hoppip when Koshi took one look at his teammates and started cracking up. She was seeing a pattern with his sense of humor. "You guys thought that I would need your help with a Hoppip!?" He'd die of laughter if he kept this up. "Pleeaaase! There's a reason why i'm the leader, it's because I'm the strongest! Now, let's continue! and please try to keep up."
He turned his back on them to head up the right passage and Julia grumbled, once again climbing on Max in order to keep up. "I call dibs on the next one!" she called up to the utter moron she called her partner.
