The beacon shone on, the ethereal lights that hovered at it's peak glowing with a warm, almost inviting light. Some thought them ghostly, a mystery that needed to be solved, but Silvain found them calming, a sign that the Mighty One still watched over them. The fog on the dark horizon flinched away from the bright light emitted from the glowing orbs that floated above his head, the beacon a scarecrow among a field of fog. The Houndour's dark eyes looked up to the top of the building where a cluster of the light converged, and a sudden determination sparked in his shrouded optics. Silvain padded towards hulking stone giant, a wide smile on his face under the dark of night. As he neared, he began to test his weight on the crumbled rock, at time glancing back up to the odd, immaterial lights that hovered above his head. As soon as he was confident that the ancient tower would not crumble beneath his weight, the Pokemon lifted himself onto the first step, looking forward at the large, spiral staircase ahead of him. His pace began to pick up as he moved further up the stairs, the orbs of light growing closer with every step. As he moved on, he became cocky, growing more and more confident with every step that he would not plumett to the green grass below. He grinned, but as soon as a smile appeared it was gone. His paw lifted and stepped down on a loose step, leading to it's dislodgment and him nearly racing to the ground with it. Silvain hung precariously on the edge of the crumbling straircase, eyes wide as he tried to lift himself back onto the main path. @tag MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0

Lenny liked this moment. It was very peaceful. Quiet and just overall the kind of environment he enjoyed being around. In a dark open field with only two light sources. The energy he gave of himself, which lit up a very small area around him, and the beacon not that far away. Many people might have done stuff as look at the flowers or just do something. But not Lenny. He was just standing. Observing. Taking everything in. Lenny was more then just comfortable to stand here for a few more hours, at least until sunrise. That was until he saw something strange at the beacon. With a quizzical look, or as least as quizzical Lenny could look, and made his way over there with all the stealth and speed he had. Which was not a lot.
By the time Lenny got up to the beacon the something strange was already gone, and all he could hear was the pitter patter of feet becoming more faint with the sound reaching upwards. Lenny decided to follow the noise, but seeing how unsteady the stairs were he started slowly climbing up the staircase. He stood as close to the wall as possible as that would be the strongest part which could handle his weight.
What began as a slow cautious space increased in speed until he heard the sound of something falling. That instantly made Lenny throw caution to the wind and speed up those steps as fast as he could and found himself in front of a strange sight. A Houndour was hanging on the step in front of him. Without much thought he reached down and picked up the pooch from the scruff of his neck and pulled until he was safely with fully body on the staircase again
Then came a strange noise from Lenny, which sounded like grinding of stone before a slightly low toned voice emerged from the construct
"You fell."

The dog Pokemon scuffed his hind paws along the jagged, broken precipice that he now hung from. He hung precariously over the edge, with his paws beginning to slip from the old, cracked stairway that had collapsed beneath his weight. Silvain had been struggling so desperately to save himself and scramble back onto the main path that he had barely noticed the cautious stomping of a Golett nearby. Fiery eyes wide with panic, Silvain desperately hoped that if he fell, it wouldn't be a long way down. As a cold, stone hand grabbed him by his scruff, Silvain let out a yelp, his breath catching in his throat. Perhaps it was the maker of the beacon, about to arrest him for climbing on the clearly out of use stairs? Or, what if it was an outlaw that thought he looked like a great victim? Silvain squeeze his eyes shut as he was transported over the chasm he had created, only reopening them when he heard the voice of the Golett. Knitting his brows, the Houndour glanced up to see Lenny, eyes wide as he stared at it. "...What?' He wondered, glancing around a bit. Well, he didn't exactly fall... He just almost fell; there was a difference, wasn't there? The unaware Explorer took to eyeing his surroundings helplessly, before his attention finally landed on the Golett who had saved him. It had not ocurred to him that the other could have saved him, the dog Pokemon had figured it was only in his vicinity to laugh at him. Quirking another brow, a dumbfounded look came upon Silvain's face. "Wait, you saved me?" Silvain didn't wait for an answer before continuing. "Oh, thank you so much! I thought I was going to die! Do you want money or something? Seriously, I'll give you anything!"@tag MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0 [/quote]

Lenny was a bit confused by the Houndours reaction. He was expecting a thank you or a sign of acknowledgement as thats what he usually got when it did something good, and then that stare he usually got. Lenny knew it made some pokemon frightened though he didn't know why. Though at least the guy seemed happy for it. Though a bit confused. Lenny thought the Houndour was confused on what had happened and Lenny reiterated it's previous comment, but with more information in the hopes of relieving the hounds confusion. Even Lenny realised how weird it must be to be saved by a animated golem such as itself.
"You fell. I just said." Lenny replied to the hound. "It seems the step below you dislodged from the building. Though you should be careful. Guild rules state that no one should enter climb the beacon except for if you have permission from the guildmaster or the owner, but as you seem like a good fellow I will leave you with a warning" Lenny informed the Houndour. Lenny just looked awkwardly at the Houndour as it thanked it and requested to give it items or anything for saving him, but Lenny shook its head through the enitre speech as this was something it didn't need, he just did his duty as a guild member and that was protecting the citizens of Andalusst.
"No thank you. I was just doing my duty as a member of the guild" Lenny said with a bit of pride in its voice, which was the first sign of genuine emotion his voice portrayed since Lenny started talking. Lenny was proud to be a member of the guild, even though it was recently new but they accepted Lenny with open arms, even after what felt like years when Lenny roamed the wilds. Lenny felt a sense of accomplishment which meant a lot to it as to usually feel something it has to be very strong. "Though I would suggest either going down, or moving up. We're on this staircase anyway and I am eager to see what is up there. Plus now we have a failsafe if either one of us falls Lenny said to the Houndour. He realised that during this time of night it was better to be in groups just in case of outlaws and the Houndour seemed pretty adamant on climbing the tower so this would be a way for Lenny to keep an eye on him. Though seeing what the beacon actually is would be a huge plus in Lenny's eyes.

Silvain watched as the odd, inorganic Pokemon began to speak, a soft grinding noise sounding with every articulated word. It was as if the other was made of Clockwork and pure steel and rock; it was odd, he had never seen anything quite like the one who stood in front of him. It was new and rather exciting as this was a first, but still, he marveled at how it seemed that anything could be given enough brains to make a few words. Perhaps the Houndour was so distracted with pondering the Golett that he almost missed it's recall of the events. His eyebrows soon caved in vague humor. "Oh, never knew that was a rule. But, thanks for letting me off the hook, I guess!" The dog let out a little laugh and a dusty pink tongue lolled from slightly parted jaws as the Golett continued to speak. His ears drooped slightly as his offers were refused, but soon perked up again. "Oh, alright! Well, I'mtechnically in your debt now, soft you need something or another, just ask me I guess!" the rather small Houndour nodded with a wide smile, wagging his tail wildly as he spoke. He did try to be a bit careful though, as to not make another step crumble beneath his rather small weight. However, as Lenny suggested going further, Silvain faltered. He had nearly fallen to his imminent death simply because the Beacon had fallen to dis-repair, how would both of their weight fare for higher levels? He looked uncertainly over the gaping hole that had nearly swallowed him, contemplating going further for a moment before turning back. Perhaps he could, if he stayed close to the wall and don't run, Silvainwas sure he could reach the top. Plus, he really wanted to see what the peak of the Beacon held. "Yeah, sure! Let's go!" with that, the dog Pokemkn turned and began walking towards the hole, swiftly jumping over and hoping for the best landing. MADE BY VEL OF GS AND ADOXOGRAPHY 2.0
