The police force, quite frankly, needed a break. And so it was that on this day, the vast majority of them were home in bed or off on vacation, leaving a few hired hands to do their jobs for them. Field day for the criminals? Or would those who wished to do evil be brought to justice? There would only be one way to find out. Once you have posted at least ten times each and brought the thread to a close, tag me and I will give you both rewards!iggy Domino

He stared up at the great Regigigas, rubbing the band about his wrist which marked him as 'protector', face scrunched in apprehension. Perhaps the uncanny aura which creeped its way about the stone thing through time was responsible in part, but he had always been suspicious of the statue for as long as he had been suspicious of the Beacon. No, the architect of his concern was not great craftsmanship but great foolishness. When he had taken the mission upon the board he assumed that only one wanted a break, and thus, he was certain that he could fall back on Terry's peers if things were to turn serious. What was unfathomable was the notion that so many had taken a break, surely they could schedule their vacation days such that a novice to policing wouldn't have a damn headache, so why was it that they had almost entirely scampered away! He glanced to the window of an officer he knew was on break, the house was dark, but were they watching him from the shadow, privately betting on whether or not he would fail? He glanced to the rising sun and the beginnings of the crowd it pulled behind it, perhaps they had an inconspicuous figure tally the marks of 'successes' and 'failures', or maybe this was a vetting process for potential recruits-to-be? He bit down on his tongue, no wonder they had offered a Ginseng, this was a trap, and he had fallen for the bait like a fool. God knows what foul nonsense he would have to deal with today. He peeked back up to the Great Architect and with the muttered words of "Put in a good word for me, please," sighed at it's indifference, his gaze fluttering up to the Beacon and back down to city of Andalusst, where his damnation was sure to lay. "Alls well ends well," his voice bitter, he tightened the band and marched off into his patrol, expression relaxed but eyes alert.
Fortunately, his patrol did not run him past the Marketplace, and even better was the fact that Okri, who was neither hungover nor away with dirty claws, had agreed to split the tour of duty with him, fortune favors the prepared after all. Alas, as the blistering sun rose and the faces with their occasional and minor problem filed by, all mended by his calm, calculated word, some stern glances, and a few clever improvisations, he couldn't help but feel the calm fade into noon and the restful peace of Andalusst proceed something worse. This was his luck after all, always ahead of trouble but never away, one step ahead of the thick fog, he didn't like it one damn bit. Which face would it be that caused him trouble? He thought back to many times he, staring at a certain Spinda's curvaceous spin and nursing his "Gay beer," as Okri liked to call it, listened in to the patrons of the Room and heard among their chatter tales of "that Grimer" or "that Skitty," or whoever; referring to this model of the Outlaw as he pondered his great foe, or foes. Perhaps his mountain would not be an Outlaw, but a dispute between citizens? Or even worse, the two combined! Maybe there was an entire band of criminals seeking to cause some minor trouble so that his attentions would be diverted and their mischief, or malicious intent could be enacted! What could he do against this!? He was the child of an Outlaw, yes, but he was sorely prepared to deal with something of that enormity! Even worse was the fact that many had probably seen that advert before him - what was Terry thinking - the stoney buffoon.
"Um, excuse me?" He glanced down to a Spinarak whose face he'd recognized as the one behind a scroll or some pawprint rune oh so many times at the Cafe'. "Yes?" Did she recognize him? Was she in cahoots with someone? Was she about to call him out for being an impos-"Umm, I'd just to thank you officers for all your good work-I mean-I know it's your job, but, umm, thanks." He could feel some stares upon him, a Scizor glared at him, "It's nothing mam'," he nodded with a brief smile that quickly broke from ease as he caught something fast attop a rooftop from the corner of his eye. He glanced up, just a Drowzee tumbling down, tools of repair falling with him. "You ok?" Iggy called to the fellow, having been stopped at the side of the street rather than it's center, "Yeah yeah, I'll be fine," the fellow's nasally voice blared in stark contrast to the Spinark's ginger air, and when he looked back down to her, she had already fluttered back into the flowing faces with quick feet and towards the side of the Scizor, they had been walking together. "Who's the Scizor?" He asked the Drowzee, who he then recognized as another patron of the Room. The fellow shrugged. "You're fine on your own?" "Yup" they shared a nod, and the two returned to their duties. Iggy rubbed the band about his wrist, which marked him as 'protector', eyes surveying the street. In the distance, he could see the great Regigigas draw near for the fourth time, for the third round of his patrol, the sun was blistering, he sipped from the gourd at his belt.

// Understudy Work//Domino's Debut! iggy Black eyes gazed intensely at the scene before her, a wide, mischievous grin spread wide across her face. The female had always had a lack of respect for police officers, always feeling like her real concern should be at the Explorers they call upon to do all of their work. Her opinion about them was proven fact a lot if she really thought about it. After all, she was well aware that Explorers were always on the clock as far as Domino was concerned. The only reason she felt the need to keep her reputation quiet even a little bit was because of those few Explorers she would rather keep her face out of view. She heard of other Outlaws that was for sure. Even if the police force was up in arms, though, the crooks that made up the group she happen to fall into would still be completely overwhelmed with their sheer number. Some like the Skitty and the Grimer were just two of the many out there, but there was hardly a peep about her. Some outlaws may have felt insulted by that, but she, for one, was pleased. They would prattle on about how nasty she was, or how heinous he was, or how they were completely heartless in their schemes. However, she was hardly brought up at all, and when she was, “Oh, yeah! The Emolga.” she had heard one Raticate say. “Well, I heard she was keen on causing trouble, but I don’t think she’s really all that threatening. I’ve heard she has a way with words, but there was just this rumor going around about this Swinub. I think it was just that, a rumor.” Of course, the Raticate seemed much more confident about his words being fact than most other Pokemon did, but this was one area they could all agree with him on. And Domino was pleased. No one so much as uttered her name, which meant that either they hadn’t noticed what she did to Ryleh, or they forgot all about it. Either way, Domino’s reputation remained on the bad side, but a bit of a false persona was always something she could appreciate. Now, however, she felt like she was ready to cause some real trouble. Looking around Andalusst, she could definitely see some police roaming about, but certainly not enough to cause her any problems. But at the same time she knew her size gave her a clear disadvantage. If she wanted to really make her debut, Domino would have to target someone more at her level. Someone who truly was an amateur. That was when her black eye caught the movement of a rather nervous looking Pancham. Not completely, but he seemed to be rather mature. Of course he wouldn’t completely show his nerves, that wouldn’t sit well with people who looked up to him. But it was clear that he hardly knew what he was doing. Still, she felt like there was a familiar air to him. Like he wasn’t just some police officer. Shaking those thoughts off, Domino spread her arms out and flew up onto one of the rooftops near the Pancham. She found the officer, now who would be her first potential victim? Something seemed to run past Domino at top speed, but she hardly noticed them. It was then that she spotted a little girl, a Cleffa to be precise, dragging around a little plush around with her. An evil grin formed on her face as she swooped down and tackled the little girl in a speedy Quick Attack. The Cleffa squealed as she fell face first to the ground, tossing the doll in the air involuntarily, and Domino catching it midair. The little Cleffa stood up, sniffing, and tearing up as she looked up at her attacker. “Owee…” she whimpered, looking around for whoever could help her. Probably her mommy or daddy. Domino glanced over to the Pancham she was targeting as she held the body of the Cleffa doll on one paw and the head of it in the other in a rather dangerous grip. “You think you can become a real cop? You think you can bring criminals to justice?” Domino yanked at the head of the doll, a soft ripping sound being emitting. “Can you take this cruelty?” And in one, swift motion, the Emolga ripped the head clean off the doll, and threw the damaged doll to the ground. The poor little girl was caught up in her sobs as she gathered her poor ripped up doll. The victim still hadn’t recovered from the sting of the Quick Attack as she cradled the doll in her arms. Domino walked past the sobbing little girl and faced the wannabe cop with a full out evil grin across her face. If she hadn’t been noticed before, she’d certainly be noticed now. It has finally happened. This was Domino the Outlaw’s debut. [/b][/div][/div] [/div]

Normall' Amy would be walkin' behind m' but she starts t' take th' lead an I make no word of it, eccentric girl she is, but then she takes up to a' Pancham. Now, I don't know who this fellow is till I take a gander at th' gourd on 'is belt, obviously markin' him as Okri's kid, since very few substitutes gourd f' flask, and there ain't many Panchams in Andalusst. Now, I reckon even Amy ought've t' known he weren't no real officer-this were Terry's patrol aft' all, a boisterous an' lovable bastard, god forbid he learnt how t' mega, but I made no word bout' it. She makes what she wants of er' time, I've no complaint if' we tardy ourselves by a minute or two. The kid an' I share a glance as she stumbles out er' words and then we're off ag'n. He remind's me more 've 'Tilda more'n anythin' else, but it's kind've hard t' match up t' Okri, so I digress. Me'n Amy pick up th' pace, an' even with er' behind m' side I can hear er' make a lil' gasp and I turn around t' look at th' commotion she was gaspin' at. An Emolga with smile as even as day harassing some child right infront've th' kiddo, who jus' clipped th' gourd to is' belt, starin' back at th' girl-shame she don't know, if he takes t' Tilda at all there'll be quick work made a' rodent, and if he's even close t' Okri..heheheheheh, she'll be dealin' with a real smartass-haint' seen Okri fight though, so who knows. Her smile was crooked and as she neared it only grew uglier. At first, he taken by a reactive surprise when she attacked her mark, but as the crowd parted around the scene and he was left to stare at her he couldn't help but stare in contempt, even if all he revealed was the slight agitation of brow. Each despicable act seemed to surmount the other, the only thing keeping him in his silent anger being just how childishly depraved the 'cruelty' was, even the average conman was deserving of more respect than what became her crooked 'debut'. Holding back the words of 'You are not a criminal, you're an Ass' he returned her upwards stare with sharp glare so inwardly scathing it broke from his suppression to become the accidental Leer whose passionate gaze remained as he stepped past her side, fading from her peripheral as he brushed against her shoulder, nudging past any reactive resistance. And to the Cleffa he went, kneeling at her side such that he kept the Emolga under his peripheral as he loosely draped an arm about the child's back. She sniffled, broken from her trance by touch. Within the grasp of her tiny hands was the dead thing she called Lola, her hands tightening about the corpse to protect it from another threat. They did not loosen in light of his maternal smile, "There there, it'll be fine miss," he patted her side in a slow rhythmic beat and she hiccuped a sob which stole the weak words: no it wont. "Listen, I know someone who can sew this back together for free," he reached to his Treasure bag and unclasped it before leaving it on the ground before her trembling hands and shaking 'head', "her name is Lola..." she muttered, he nodded, "Oh, I'm sorry, I know a doctor who can heal Lola then" -- "you sure?" "Absolutely." Paused in thought she stared into the bag's depth, "you're a Police, right?" she broke the silence and he nodded, "Yeah, I'm a cop." she relented, releasing Lola's corpse into his bag, "when will She be fine?" -- "Soon, soon, now here, take this." He reached into the bag and pulled out one of the Oran berries given to him by the force to be used as the force, "You must be hurting quite abit, but this'll make you better~" And with a sly smirk he leaned in and whispered, "It tastes good too~" as if the fact was somehow an important secret. She nodded slowly and took the berry, nibbling at it, unsure of what else to do. "Now, head over there, I'll be with you soon," he pointed to the Drowzee, who snapped out of his spectative gaze, bumbling, "Who, me?" but alas, it was him, and the girl had stumbled over to his lot of the sidelines before he could bumble out his refusal, nursing her berry. "Aww geez," he rubbed the back of his neck, he wasn't comfortable around kids, Iggy chuckled, "Wheheh..."
But his smile faded as he rose, his expression blank as he shrugged the bag back on and regarded the eyes staring at him with only a few silent glances before his own landed on Domino, "Bravo, you've assaulted a child." He let the words hang, hands gripping at his belt as he stared, otherwise unmoving, "Is that your job?-" his voice dull as his expressionless face "- To be bad, to be 'criminal?'....Weheheheh," he pinched the bridge of his nose in a snarky chuckle from which he recovered quickly, "Truly the people of Andalusst, good or 'bad', can look upon you today in amazement at the fulfillment of your infinite potential," someone laughed at that, the Scizor, "But I digress, my name is Iggy, and I'll do my best.....Now, what is your name miss?" He smiled at the girl, the only intimation of what lay inside being the venom his voice once carried. ___ Domino

// Understudy Work//Let the fun begin. iggy Domino cringed at the panda leered, and flinched as he brushed his shoulder against her own, but otherwise hardly acknowledged his presence once she was ignored. To be honest, Domino didn’t expect so many Pokemon to take notice of her heinous act. She wanted a lot to notice, but there seemed to be way too many. It made her uncomfortable to be blunt, that previous leer doing little to help with her nerves, but still she refused to let her heightened nerves show. Her face stayed steady, and even though there was quite the storm on the inside, there wasn’t so much as a hint for anyone else to see. Domino was used to an inner storm. She was in one constantly. She had long learned to keep the majority of them to herself, and that included situations when many Pokemon were present. She could only remember one even when she had failed to do so due to feeling particularly poor. This was more of her normal behavior in this situation, if you could call anything she does normal. Domino’s attention was back to the rather cocky cop as he had the little Cleffa run off to a random Drowzee. Well, that wasn’t the smartest thing to do now was it? It didn’t seem like the Drowzee had any experience with children, let alone knew this one. Great lesson to teach “cop”, Domino thought. Make a crying child run over to some random stranger. Certainly nothing could go wrong. Domino didn’t spat those words out loud only because she honestly didn’t care what happened to the girl. She had fulfilled her purpose as far as the Emolga was concerned. Domino felt herself rise as her smirk formed. Job? Was he really serious? Job would imply that she was working for someone to benefit others. The only aspect of a “job” that she had was that she occasionally stole money from other Pokemon. That was her source of income. But, “No, it’s not my job, Cop Wannabe. You haven’t been doing this for very long, have you?” As confident of a vibe as he was giving, Domino remained unimpressed. “And what’s with your weird laugh?“Whatever,” she continued, ignoring her own question before he could even answer. “I could hardly care less about how you or anyone else feels about me.” Domino would do whatever she wanted whether Kung Fu Panda liked it or not. And right now he was her focus. She wanted to see what she could do to get on this Pancham’s nerves. “Oh, you want to know who I am?” Domino chuckled. “Iggy, huh? That’s an even worse name than any of the names I wanted to call you. HA! You’re even more pathetic than I thought.” Domino spread her arms out slightly. “And as for my name, you may find out, if you catch me.” The Emolga took off in the air, diving down to the panda in an attempt to grab his badge. She would then take off in a direction and look for more trouble she could cause. [/b] [/div][/div][/div][/b][/div][/div] [/div]
