The Marketplace was a bustling hive of activity as pokemon scurried left and right in hurried preparation for the flower dance that would begin at noon. There was only an hour or so to go before the dance began, and plenty to do to prepare! A crowd of pokemon was already starting to build, everyone eager to get a spot near the front to watch the beautiful dance at work. There was already a Sunflora ushering the crowd back, but she was hardly the only pokemon working to get things accomplished. Pokemon, mostly grass and bug types, were running back and forth with armfuls of flowers, decorating the entire area in beautiful blooms. A ledyba was handing out snacks while a combee sprinkled seeds around, pacifying the impatient crowd. And in the center of all the commotion was a Petilil, the star and host of the show herself, directing hoards of pokemon even as she stood proudly at the stage, admiring her creation. ( Tinair )

[googlefont="Candal"] it's not betrayal if i was never loyal in the first place | No one seemed to notice the dratini quietly lurking in the background, amongst all the chaos that was going on. Which was exactly what Tinair wanted, in any case. Attention would be the last thing she needed, if she was going to sneak around quietly trying to disrupt this party. No one would benefit if she was caught.
She had tons of ideas on how to turn this party into a disaster. It wasn't that hard, really. Set a few things on fire, mess up the decorations, step on a few peoples toes... It all depended on how much of a disaster was required, at what cost. But first she should probably scout out her surroundings a little.
Leaving her place in the shadows of the walls, she headed into the busy crowds. Noting the petili standing on the stage center, and all the pokemon helping, the dratini felt a little out of place. Not only was she the only one not surging forward to the front of the stage, she was also one of the few pokemon that was not grass types or bug types. She ducked her head a little, to avoid detection, while quickly changing her direction to follow the surge of the crowd.
This might be harder than it seems. She thought, as she narrowly avoided a collision. Too many pokemon meant more chances of detection, and that was not good. She would have to be careful. meesh , 241 words, notes: tin is exploring the crowd |

Being careful was easier said than done. There were simply too many pokemon around to avoid detection. Even as the dratini tried to blend in and go unnoticed, it wasn't long before she found herself being tapped on the earfin. The perpetrator in question was a snivy, looking impatient with her arms full of bouquets. "You don't look like you're doing anything useful, help us!" she demanded snootily, shoving the bouquets towards the dratinin. "These should be scattered around the crowd, just to bring the mood up. Come find me when you're done. If this all goes over well, we'll pay all the helpers, so don't get all in a rut." she disappeared almost as soon as she delivered the order, off to find more pokemon to boss around, no doubt. Leaving Tinair there alone with a bunch of flowers. As well as an option. The dratini could continue to destroy the event as planned. Or she could help it prosper, and still be paid for it. The option was hers. But what would she do? ( Tinair )

[googlefont="Candal"] it's not betrayal if i was never loyal in the first place | Almost stunned by the snivy's appearance and actions, Tinair accepted the bundle of flowers without a complaint, holding it with her tail. Once the snivy disappeared, however, tinair came back to life agin. "Why, you ignorant snob." She muttered, while considering the flower bunch for one moment, before throwing it away, carefully crushing a few of the petals.
She could help them, she supposed, but that would be against her nature. If she failed, maybe she would try to claim the reward, but she wasn't going to help.
She slid away from the place where she met the snivy, and continued to search around for something to destroy, or to push over and make a mess with. Surely there was something? If not, then she would have to try something more daring, and that was against her nature. Perhaps send an attack towards the stage or something. meesh , -- words, trying to find things to wreck |

Things to wreck? There were all that a cunning young dratini could hope for, and more. For starters, this was a very crowded event. Crowds of pokemon could be bad - it meant more witnesses - but it also meant it would be easier to incite unrest or panic. From where Tinair was, he could already see a deerling and a pichu talking to one another, wearing matching looks of impatience. Farther down there was a young emolga looking about nervously, already sparking a little in the big crowd. There was also the staff at the event. The snivy was still directing pokemon about, and there was a wurmple carefully setting things up. There were also a few psyduck talking to the crowd, trying to calm down and appease impatient pokemon. If interacting with people didn't suit Tinair's interests, there was more to be done. Decorations of flowers and ribbons were absolutely everywhere. There were also snacks set up on tables around the area. Plenty to do before the event even started! Or Tinair could simply attack the stage, that also worked. (If I didn't specify something about a pokemon, like gender or whatever, feel free to make that up!) Tinair

[googlefont="Candal"] it's not betrayal if i was never loyal in the first place | The mood of the crowd was not quite comfortable. Patience, unfortunately, was a rare virtue, and it was inevitable that some would become impatient, waiting for the setting up to be completed. Good. For her, at least. A more detailed plan was beginning to form in her head, but a little more preparation was still needed.
Her eyes landed on the tables full of food. Perfect. Her expression changed from bored to excited, trying to imitate the feelings of a youngling, delighted to be here. She shuffled through the crowd, nodding at all who passed, widening her eyes as much as possible to look childish. A child could be forgiven. An adult still could be, but it would be harder.
The tables were very close now, enough for her to reach over the top of other Pokemon, far smaller than her, to grab something to eat. The food was quite plain, at least to her, but she made her eyes widen further all the same. Now she was closer, she reached for another treat. With her tail this time.
Grabbing another treat, she pretended to stumble, bumping another Pokemon in the process. Crashing into the table of food, she tried to stand up as fast as she can. The next part required a lot of apologising, and she couldn't do that with her mouth stuck in food.
"oh, no, I'm so sorry!" She cried, to anyone that listened. "Oh no, oh no, oh no!" Tears were starting to form in her eyes now. Bursting into tears always made others pity her. As the first tear started to fall, she backed away from the disaster. "I didn't m-mean to, I'm r-really sorry!" Sobs were emerging from her mouth now, as she really got into her role. She was actually feeling a little scared herself, now.
She turned to the Pokemon that she had purposely, no, accidently pushed over. "I'm, I''m sorry. I didn't mean it!" I meant to push more people over, not just you. Looking as scared as she could manage, she bowed her head, waiting for the others' judgement. Was she good enough an actor?

Perhap's one's mental image of a dratini was small, but in person (in pokemon?) dratini were quite quite huge. It didn't take much effort to make it to the food, and when Tinair 'accidentally' bumped into the table, it had quite the dramatic effect. The table was actually crushed under her coils, legs broken and a crack running along the top. The food that hadn't gone flying already was squooshed flat underneath her, now either a pancake on the ground or stuck to the dratini's body. And on top of all that, when Tinair began crying, she was big and loud enough that everyone could tell. A few pokemon were angry: a geodude even started to yell at her, but it wasn't long before the more motherly (and the more stupid) pokemon came to her rescue. A machop stepped forward now and began to lecture the geodude who was yelling at Tinair. "Now enough of that, can't you see it was an accident?" she tutted and turned to look up at the dratini. "Now you go get yourself cleaned up dear, we'll handle things here. And don't you worry about a thing, we'll go get more food!"Very nice success. The pokemon guests were arguing amongst themselves now, and there went the snacks. This was already shaping up as a not-so-nice night. Now, what would Tinair do next? There was still a crowd, decorations, a stage, supervisors, and it looked like the performers were slowly getting ready too, decorating one another with flowers behind the stage. Plenty of opportunity for chaos. Tinair

[googlefont="Candal"] it's not betrayal if i was never loyal in the first place | She wasn't sure if she had succeeded at first. Some looked sorry for her, but others were yelling. It wasn't until a machop started speaking up for her that she let her relax. Giving another, grateful sob and a nod, she turned away from the mess she made. Perfect. Except, of course, to cause another mess like this one could get her marked as a troublemaker. Once, it could be an accident. Twice and people start getting suspicious. No, she needed something more subtle.
Reaching a corner, packed with less Pokemon, she started cleaning the food off her body, trying not to look at the mess to much. Euech. Her cleaning-up complete, she looked around once more. What next?
Ah, yes, the crowd. Impatient as always. Packed full of people. Push someone over and they'll never notice. Her eyes slid to a pair of Pokemon talking, not wanting to wait any longer, by the looks of things. Would they recognise her as the one who had pushed the table over? No matter. She would just be the little innocent girl again.
She slid over to the deerling and the pichu, now fully clean once more. "Ex-excuse me?" She asked, I turpitude their conversation. "S-sorry, but d-do you know w-hen the event i-i-is starting? I've just been waiting for so long...." She trailed off, a look of hopefulness on her face. They were probably wondering the same thing, too, and perhaps her question would spark enough anger in them. |

The Deerling and Pichu averted their eyes to stare at the Dratini that had so meekly approached them, thePichu's eyes flickering with annoyance while the Deerling seemed more demure than her friend. The Pichu gave a huff and lashed his small black tail, anger flickering in his somewhat malicious words. "Well," he started pointedly, his tension rising with the rest of the crowd's. "with what you just did, probably for-" he was interrupted by the Deerling, who sent a pointed look in the direction of the stage.
"All we wanted to do was watch this flower dance and now it's never going to happen. Uuuuugh." she she groaned in annoyance, a glint in her eye that had a fierce impatience. She and the Pichu turned away to continue chatting, and from what it sounded like, the Deerling was suggesting that they try and complain to the staff to get them to work faster. But it was clear that your plans were working; the crowd had grown tense and anxious. Your little 'slip' had put the event quite off track and supervisors were now rushing around, trying to pick up all your mistakes while also dealing with a crowd that wanted their heads.
A quick glance behind the curtain of the stage revealed that the dancers were now just putting on quick touches to their costumes, while pokemon who were trying to make the event scurried around in an attempt to decorate the area and stage with various botanic decorum. Plenty of stuff to destroy, at least.
