Please Find Him!

A fresh breeze rolled merrily over the soft grass. The air was filled with the scent of pollen and the humm of insect pokemon busy as work. But for as beautiful as the scene appeared, all was not well. There was a baby Wurmple lost somewhere in this dungeon. And dungeons weren't exactly the safest place for any sane pokemon, child or adult.

When the two pokemon arrived at the dungeon, they were hardly given a second's rest. A strange pokemon growled at them, tensed and ready to attack the intruders of its home...




Kanon alice

So they finally arrived in the dungeon. This time Alice was determined to not go running away from to wild pokémon and have most of them chase her till the end of the dungeon. Maybe now that she had a partner this might also go a little more smoothly. The small joltik wished she could have enjoyed the scenery a bit more before having to move on, but another bug pokémon had found them already. It was still very large compared to the small electric type. Not that this was very unusual. Alice still to the day of today never met someone who was clearly smaller than she was.

With a determined look she rushed at the aggressive surskit and attacked it with her cross poison move. She didn't really like this attack, but it was her only attack that really did sufficient damage. So long they didn't run into a steel type pokémon it should work more or less.

[Kanon]

Kanon had a small grin on her face. She was excited to be taking her first job, and because it was only in the Abundant Meadow, her parents were okay with her taking it. She hadn't gotten all the way to the Guild to register yet, but she could still do this. And Alice was an explorer, which had probably been part of what helped convince her parents.

Now they were in the dungeon, so she had to keep her focus. Especially since Alice was so small. "Hey, what attacks can you use?" she asked the Joltik, just before she caught sight of the Surskit that was glaring threateningly at them. She swished her head around and caught the tip of her leaf in her mouth, whistling a lullaby that was directed at the Surskit.

The surskit approached its opponents, growling. It was only at the twin blades of poison directly to the face that it stumbled backwards now, glaring warily at the offending joltik. At Kanon's whistling noises, the grass around Surskit's feet began to sway enticingly, but the surskit jumped nimbly away, still staring at the joltik. A stream of bubbles came from the pokemon, directly towards the tiny electric spider.

Joltik uses Cross Poison! It does 9 damage! Surskit hp 7/16
Chikorita uses Grass Whistle! It misses!
Surskit uses Bubble on Joltik! It does 5 damage! Alice's hp 15/20

"Wait a moment till this is over." She said towards the chikorita. First they had to deal with this angry bug. That was shooting bubbles at her. Those bubbles seemed to hurt her a bit, but only inflicted some bruises on her skin. Considering the size of those bubbles that seemed like a miracle to her. It couldn't hurt to play it safe though.

"Finish it!" She said to encourage to land a final blow after her attack. After that, the little tick charged at the Surskit in an attempt to bit it with her small fangs and drain some energy from the small creature using one of her attacks. leech life should keep her up for another opponent if they encountered one more. Until then she jumped aside after her attack so that the Chikorita could follow up like Joltik asked if not... well then it could end in a world of pain, since leech life was more to keep up than to actually defeat the opponent.
