A Wild Newbie Appears!

I'm pretty sure everyone knows me by now but...eh xD I felt bad at how quiet this board was!

I'm Meesh, a bio major going into my third year of college. This summer (as  I do every summer) I'm back home where I work at a Biotech company and then after work I volunteer at the animal shelter - the ultimate question this year is, do I do dogs this year, kitten nursery, or wildlife? It's always a tough call

While  I do more lab-worky stuff when I'm at home, at school my research is a bit more outdoorsy. I work in a museum preparing specimens, which are mostly insects but I'm gonna add mammals, herps, and birds to the list next year! I also might have just discovered a new species of butterfly!

I've roleplayed for years, practically since before I could properly write two sentences without the entire thing sounding like a mess. In high school, it was mostly virtual pet sites and forums. In college, I've devolved into dm'ing two dnd campaigns, participating in another two dnd campaigns, and also being in another few campaigns that aren't dnd but are similar in style - I have played the pokemon tabletop, before you ask. I've also modded a few pet sites in my day.

Hi Meesh!!

We already know each other pretty well, but introductions are cool, so here I am! Your major is super cool; when I was little, I always wanted to become something like what you're doing; if I hadn't chosen Theatre and Writing, I would be in your same place!

By the way, you should definitely do Kitten Nursery; friendly advice from someone who you should, of course, trust. ;3

And, it's always great to get roleplaying in early! It really opens up a lot of ways later on; for me, at least!
