Staff Try-outs!

Sundance and I are both very delighted to see this Mystery Dungeon RP take off so fast! We only started since the 5th of June and we already have a LOT of members!
So without further ado we would like to introduce Staff Try-outs for the members that would be interested in helping out. 

Your basic tasks would be: 
- Accept characters
- Answer questions
- Create dungeons
- Keep logs updated
and more.. 

Seeing as this is a lot to handle for two people we would love to have another member on the Staff team. 
Obviously once you will be accepted there will be a trial period + a training period in which either Sundance or me will teach you the basics. (Includes making dungeons.. calculating stats and experience points + damage given and taken.

Who are you? I'm a Bio major entering my third year of college! I'm a passionate nerd too. I'm in two dnd campaigns over the school year, one of which I dm. Over the summer I'm participating in yet another campaign and dm'ing another, so my life is 50% work and then 50% ultimate nerd. I might have discovered a new species of butterfly last week - figuring that out as we speak - and my favorite pokemon is Noibat and my favorite type is flying. Oh! I also have a business making small dragons out of yarn and selling them online~


Why should we hire you?
I have a ton of experience is why! My former positions are as follows:
Head Mod at Harper Region RPG (a pokemon rp site)
Roleplay/Community Mod at Windrose and Mod at Indomita (both are non forum pet websites)

I'm also still currently a mod at the site Olympus University, formerly known as Willowvale, a pokemon site that's been up for /years/ and also employs the battle calc

For the sites I'm a 'former mod' at I pretty much universally left them during my first year in college when I was vastly unprepared for chemistry and sort of drowned in 'ohgodwhatdoido'. Fortunately I know myself and my strengths/weaknesses a lot better now! That being said, I'm still in good standing with the owners/staff team of every site and several have offered to write me reviews/letters of rec both for online sites and irl jobs in the future.

My experience on OU/WV means I am very familiar with the pokemon battle calc, and my experience everywhere else - plus the fact that I've been a member of roleplaying sites for almost as long as I knew how to write - means that I'm well versed in the world of rp!

Who are you? My alias for the time being is Soot. I work with animals and do fictional freelance in my spare time, which I have much of. As well as practicing basic witchcraft I enjoy making bracelets and watching my roommate fail at Bloodborne while cuddling my various pets. My favorite Pokemon is Scolipede!!

Why should we hire you? I'm a theatre major with five years experience in acting as well as script writing, and I've been roleplaying for around twelve years now. My background in theatre has left me with skills in improvising as well as creating, and I've taken (and aced) several creative writing courses. I was a moderator for Mysste Region up until a few weeks ago when I left the website due to personal reasons, and I was a moderator at Surrender to the Fallout before it's abrupt (and unexplained) closure.

I've written for virtual pet websites in the past (Beastkeepers, Icepets, and assorted unopened websites) and self-published a short story on Amazon (which has 4 1/2 stars!!). I really enjoy creating new characters to populate worlds with, and the NPCs that accompany dungeons is a great place to do so. I'd been attempting to bring a more dnd approach to Mysste before my departure, and I'm excited to see aspects of it here.

tl;dr I have a lot of drive and interest in creating and a lot of free time, I would love to put some of that towards this forum.

Who are you? I'm a twenty year old University student from Australia, I'm studying a Bachelor of ICT. Pokemon has been my life since I was five and Forum Roleplaying has been in my life since 2009. I'm a complete nerd and Roleplaying is my life, I've been on many forums in the last 7 years and I don't intend on stopping anytime soon

Why should we hire you? I've moderated several sites in my time and been a Graded for others, the sites of Moderated/Graded on are RolePlayNetwork, World Of Dragon Souls, One Piece Bay (Back when it had an RP), FairyTail Base (Once again before the RP was removed)

I'm online basically 24/7, the only times that I am offline is when I have exams or I am sleeping. I know my way around coding and I also have Photoshop and other devices at my hand to do the dungeons. Though I do not call myself an artist by any means, I'm fairly creative in map designs and even had my hand at running a Pokemon themed DnD game last year on roll20 where I created maps and a story. As I said Pokemon games have been in my life for years so my knowledge of different pokemon, moves etc are quite good.

All in all, I'm intrigued by this sites mechanics and would love to help out as best I can.

Also on another note. My timezone counteracts yours which means I can be online when you guys are not.

You all seemed so great, qualified, and experienced for the job, it was a little hard to choose exactly who we wanted on the team! We do wish we could pick you all, but without further ado, the new staffers are....
