"Well." A Scraggy stood in front of the gates to the Guild, one hand on her hip and one serving as a headrest and fiddling with the red paisley bandanna she always wore on her head. The tall, old stone building loomed in front of her, its shadow stretching off to her right, and she could hear the chatter of early-rising explorers finding their duties for the day. "This is a surprisingly well-built place." She had circled it once just to poke her head in and look through the massive windows, seeing the mossy tiles in the main square and the billboards crowded with missions on paper. Despite her tendency to feel a bit pessimistic about these kinds of things, Florica's heart was fluttering at the thought of finally getting a decent income and some real friends. Mom'd have my head if she knew I was joinin' the Guild.
Problem was, she didn't really know exactly how to join. She had come here after eavesdropping on a few conversations between explorers, but none of them had been so kind as to mention how to get in. Flo walked closer to the gate, searching the pillars of stone for any guard towers or something. After a few seconds of examination, she sighed and admitted defeat, crossing her arms. Guess it was finally time to make her presence known. She could smell and hear Pokemon crossing by the entrance, but none of them had apparently noticed her. "Hey! Uh, I'd like to join the Guild. If there's any tests or anythin', I'll take them." Flo leaned back, trying not to show any embarrassment at suddenly being the subject of a couple of stares and silently cursing herself for letting her family's weird accent pop up in her speech.
