Appearance: She wears a heavy, royal blue velvet scarf that matches her eyes. Over the scarf is a very old, rusty pendant with a spray of pressed white tundra flowers inside of it. She has no idea where any of these came from, but she likes them.
Personality: One way to describe Lanni is just.. somewhat lost. She has a memory so bad she permanently forgets basic things without daily reminders from the environment or other Pokemon as to what they are. Due to this, her personality has been stripped down to its core- a submissive and meek Amaura that can seem at first glance a bit foolish. However, her memories aren't completely wiped-- she forgets words to assign to images or numbers of things, but can look at something and get an accurate gut instinct on how she should feel about it. She remembers emotions, songs, physical sensations, and layouts-- just not how to describe them simply. Obviously, she's not too sure on how long she's had this condition, but every time she thinks on it she feels a deep sadness and has remembered there's a connection between her amnesia and why she's alone at such a young age. As far back as she can remember (subconsciously), Lanni's always had a little leathery bag strapped to her side that contains papers with vital information like books full of words to remember, the names of Pokemon she's known, and two mysterious slips of paper in a hand she knew wasn't her own. One reads, 'you are an outlaw and can't go back to the Guild', and the other, a bit more aged, says 'your name is Lanni'. Her goal as of now is to find all of the Pokemon named in her book, no matter what.
History: Before Lanni became the amnesiac Amaura she is today, she traveled with her parents as an idealistic and happy little girl. Her parents were proud of their mental strength and could easily travel through the fog without any lasting side-effects. Since they hated settling down in one place, they chose to bring their young daughter with them. Lanni put up with the effects of the fog quite well-- so well that her parents thought her slight forgetfulness was just a personality trait. However, as they spent more time in the fog, Lanni's memory problems worsened to the point that it was a sizable nuisance. To prevent the always-awkward "forgot-your-name" situations, Lanni began keeping a book of names of people she knew to some degree, putting cryptic little marks as a code to people that were really important. Since her memory got worse with every day, Lanni's parents eventually decided to leave her with a family friend in Andalusst where she'd be safe.
When she lived in Andalusst, she found her memory problems weren't going away, so she tried to turn them into something useful-- since she already had experience in acting by filling in the gaps in her personality and improvising, she became an actress! She enjoyed it more than anything and could play just about any role given to her. Pokemon would always puzzle over how such a young Pokemon could get so into different personalities with just a bit of description. Even now, Lanni remembers the tunes of the songs she used to sing on stage and the mix of anxiety and excitement she felt before every play.
But all good things come to an end. When Lanni was on her own trying to map the streets out in her head, she remembered the fog and all the mysteries and wonders her parents and herself had seen. It had been years since she'd seen her parents. Her feet began to guide her towards that strange place once again. From there on out, everything was a blur. She doesn't remember seeing her parents again, but obviously she met more Pokemon (as there's more names written in her book), somehow trained herself up to level 5, and became an outlaw. She thinks it might have been an outlaw friend of hers that wrote that she could never go back to the Guild.
