My Friend Has Been Taken - Dungeon Thread

Walking into the Eerie Woods you find yourself in your first dungeon room, the sound of mysterious and wispy voices ring through the air. The sun has a hard time breaking through the roof which is the canopy of leaves above your head. The ground beneath your feet is not hard but it's not overly squishy either, but what do you care? You have a mission to do.
It's uncharacteristically empty in here but in the corner of the room there is a small pile of gold, strange someone must have left them there.

Bale practically strutted into the forest, his first real exploration and no doubt he was going to completely crush it! If this was a competition, guess what? He would have already won, got the prize, and left. That's how totally great he is, he can't help it though so what can you do. But yeah, he has a missing Pokemon to find and definitely shouldn't be lazing around here but he came across the first big room and glanced around, it was totally and completely empty of everything except for a pile of gold in the corner that obviously someone just left there. Weird, but Bale was not someone to look a gift Ponyta in the mouth, finders keepers anyway, losers! He chuckled to himself, at ease in the forest area even without much sunlight but maybe it had more to do with the grass types connection to nature than anything. It might also be that Bale is completely fearless, or foolish. Whatever you want to consider him, they both so seem to work pretty well not that you could ever tell him something like that. Anyway, he gathered up the gold and looked at the only available exit to the room, with a flick of his leaf he bounded away, little clawed feet digging into the ground as excitement and the promise of adventure was right in front of him! Time to have some fun, in hindsight maybe he should be a little more worried about the missing Pokemon but it was nothing he couldn't handle so no point in worrying!

Bale picked up the gold and moved onward through the dungeon!

As you walk down the dark damp pathway, down further into the dungeon. The wispy noises start to grow faint, as if they were moving away... Could it be the dwebble you are looking for? Or could it be the Pokemon that took him? Either way, they sound like they are far away now.

As you make it into the next room once again it is empty... Maybe too empty, all except for one thing that is in just the right spot that a beam of light made it through the canopy and was shining upon the item. The item is covered in leaves and goop but there is definitely something there. By this time the sounds had vanished and now the only thing you could hear was the piercing silence of the woods that surroudn you.

The whole dungeon was something most would consider creepy, the very reason it's called Eerie Woods is because of how unsettling this place feels and so it would be understandable if Bale was a little creeped out by the absolute lack of life in these woods but this is Bale we're talking about and he doesn't think of things like that, he's not reasonable. The next room is just as empty, he huffs in disappointment but simply flicks his leaf forward and back, trying to act as if he didn't care about the lack of excitement. He stared at the goopy item and made a face, moving over towards it and leaning down to sniff it, ugh. Gross. But hey, you never know when something like that might come in handy so with a sigh he pocketed the item though made sure to put it in a separate part of his bag cause if he gets anything else he doesn't want that goop getting everywhere! Now then, time to keep moving forward! Maybe the next room had stairs in it, oh and maybe it had cool items too! Or even better, someone to fight! Yes! That would make this whole thing so much better.

After picking up the seed under all the disgusting mud and leaves, you make your way down a more straight path. Once you find your into the next room you find that the giant area opened up into a beautiful but still damp area. The Eerie sounds of the woods died down but one thing you can hear getting louder and louder, the moment you step inside the room and before you can even react you feel a sharp pain in your side as a wild Cranidos charged towards you and made contact with you and its head.

At least that item was something useful, if not gross but it's okay at least the mud could be washed off and it still would be able to be used. Bale wandered through the makeshift hallway, the trees that surrounded him keeping him on a set path as they were so tightly wound together, pressed without any other way to make it through unless he proceeded this one way. Dungeons certainly were very strange, mythical places. He didn't have much time to daydream about them though when he entered the next room, he heard the footsteps of a charging beast but couldn't react in time. His side stung, the hit causing him to be thrown off balance and flying to the side with a grunt. Bale glared at the Pokemon that dared to sneak up on him in that way. Oh no way, it was going down! With a low, annoyed sound in his throat the Chikorita stood up fearlessly and with a wave off his leaf tossed a bombardment of seeds at the Cranidos, the seeds were dangerous, harder than they looked and for a rock type like this? Oh, it would hurt for sure! Bale smirked, cocky and self assured in his victory!

Cranidos took the attack head on, knocking him back a bit and even causing him to fall down onto his knees but with fight in his eyes he looks up at you and stands back up getting ready for his next attack. Its eyes turned a bright blue as it stared you down, you can feel your defense falling as you stare back at it. What will it do next?

Now, were he a Pokemon of any real honor in his life he would respect the fight in this Cranidos, but no, this idiot just didn't know when to stop and so it seemed that he'd just have to force it to! He was glared at, and for a moment felt a hint of unease, the power of the glare causing defense to slightly falter but it was easy for Bale to shake it off and keep on attacking. And perhaps another Seed Bomb would be a little bit of an overkill but this stupid thing just didn't know when to quit! With a flourish of his leaf, yet another seed bomb was unleashed on the Pokemon.

Bale laughed, bouncing a little when the Cranidos fainted that would teach him to mess with him after all Bale was pretty freaking amazing so no way was some dumb Cranidos was ever going to beat him, especially when he had something called type advantage...duuh! Bale's leaf twitched on top of his head, now that he got a good look around at the large room he noticed the items sitting there and headed over to them, glancing around to make sure no other Pokemon would get the jump on him like last time. Stupid, charging, thick-skulled loser. Anyway he picked up the items and headed towards the stairs, ready to go!

Bale leveled up! Forgot Growl and learned Razor Leaf!
Bale picked up both items.
Bale headed towards the stairs, moving on through the dungeon.

[DUNGEON GUIDER] After continuing on from the first floor of exploring, Bale finds herself in a not small yet not large room, only accompanied by another small Oran Berry. There is path leading south out of the room, but that appears to be the only exit in sight.

He didn't know what he was really expecting as he walked the stairs, maybe a completely different place? But nope, when he arrived at the room it was empty, completely devoid of life except for the trees that were ever present but it was certainly a little disappointing, he was an explorer, shouldn't it blow him away with how great this all is? Oh well, Bale supposed that even he couldn't have unending excitement. Once he finds this pokemon he was gonna go do something else fun. His eyes spotted a berry, that was lucky! Another Oran Berry! He quickly picked it up and stored it away, heading towards the only exit in this room.
