IRIDESCENT FAKEOUT ; arena battle

[Sundance]

The two of you had been pushed into a sand-laden pit, walls on every side with softly cheering spectators among the stands. their faces were hopeful and excited, while medical personnel waited behind the gates you had come out from, ready to heal the loser of the fight. If one looked above, you could see soft, airbrushed clouds of grey hanging over the stadium. They rumbled with potential energy, promising rain in the middle of the Summer Months. The crowd was obviously leaning on the fact that this battle might go quickly.

Despite the fact that alice seemed to be fast, being a small, electric bug, the unfortunate truth was that Judy was faster. As the announcer's voice landed on the number one, it was time to make the first move.

Judy certainly didn't waste time as she began to thunder into the arena. The timer was still counting down as the giant strode forward, fist already prepared to strike a punch as soon as the go ahead was given. Despite the nature of this place, Judy wasn't here to give anyone a good show. She was here to practice and to test her skills, plain and simple. Flashy things such as making a dramatic appearance for the crowd wasn't really her style.

Of course, it was still something to behold, seeing a giant of a Kangaskhan thundering across the arena towards a joltik so miniscule Judy probably could have stepped on it and won just like that.

As it was, Judy did just barely have time to register the size of her opponent. Goodness but that pokemon was tiny. Changing her mind at the last second, Judy skid to a halt and slid the last few feet towards alice , unable to stop herself quite cleanly enough. When Judy got near the little creature, she started the battle by raising her foot and bringing it down with a loud boom about a foot away from her opponent, attempting to make Alice flinch.

When the little spider walked into the arena she did so full of confidence. Let's see who her opponent was... Wait a minute. Who made this match. Her opponent must be like one hundred times bigger than her and probably a lot more than that. Still that didn't matter. If they set them up then surely there was a chance that Alice could win, right?  That thing was even a lot larger than that dragon that rampaged through town. Still it would be a great test to see if she could fight things this large, her own 10 centimeter body be damned. There was not really a reason to run away from her opponent. Yes she was larger but Alice couldn't attack her from afar so she had to get in close. Luckily her opponent already did that for her. Bad news... that foot was about twenty time as large as her... Maybe she shouldn't attack just yet.


Instead Alice had another plan for this. She hesitated a moment then rashed towards the Kangaskhan and jumped on her feet she just placed on the ground, using her bug legs to stick on them. Then she started to charge some electricity while trying to crawl up her opponent. First trying to get on the back of the leg then crawl upward as fast as possible.

Luckily the move had worked, giving Judy the starting atvantage. But then the little insect began moving again, and Judy felt the pirckles of tiny feet on the back of her leg. Shuddering at the contact, Judy shook her foot vigerously, letting out a growl, before forming her hand into a fist. The fist began to glow with energy, and Judy simply grinned and twisted her leg up so the little yellow creature clinging to the back of her leg was more visible. Careful not to hit her own leg too hard in the process, Judy brought her fist down, and hard.

The joltik kept climbing towards the back area of the large pokémon. Alice was fast though so it didn't took her very long to get there. Despite the shaking of the foot the little tick didn't really have much trouble sticking to it and crawling further. Now her opponent was going to attack her own feet? 'Let's just hope this works, or else this could get rather ugly.' Alice thought as she released a large amount of lightning on the large pokemon.

The lightning jolted through her muscles and left them clenching up against her will. Judy's eyes narrowed. She hated status attacks used against her. "Well if that's how you wanna play it." Judy knew she had about a one in four chance of her muscles locking up again and her being unable to move, so she had to move fast. Clenching her teeth, Judy attempted to ignore the electricity to knock the insect off of her and send it flying.

Alright now that the giant was paralyzed it shouldn't be to hard to crawl to her back where her punches couldn't hit Alice anymore. She might have other attacks but at least she might be able to get rid of those pesky punches. She seemed to be hellbent on punching her while she could have just tried to stomp her earlier so of course Alice was trying to get away from those feet and arms. Meanwhile sliced some poison in the Kangaskhan.
