The two of you are sat on either side of the arena, soft sand beneath your seat while chattering can be heard from the stands above you. The temperature was mild, whiel the breeze held hints of rain, clouds have clumped together on the horizon. Some citizens could even be seen wielding umbrellas, should rain decide to be cast on such a fateful day. You two only wait for a few moments before an announcers voice comes on, counting down from five. As soon as it reaches one, you are permitted to battle, however, it's easy to see that Judy would outspeed Tinair , allowing the former to get in the first hit.

Judy's eyes narrowed as she walked forward onto the arena, regarding her opponent. A dratini, huh? This was one of the few pokemon that almost - almost - matched her in size. Judy rather liked her ability to tower over other pokemon - it was good in battles and good for keeping the peace at the inn. She would have to be careful with this one, she supposed. Giving a small sigh, the Kangaskhan started forward, breaking into a jog as she saw that she would already outspeed the dratini. The Kangaskhan hurtled forward, stomping her foot quite abruptly and sliding to a halt a few feet away from the dratini, bringing her hands together in a loud clap right by the creature's earfins. Judy had not so much as touched her opponent, nor did she intend to. But hopefully this attack would do its job and cause him to flinch, giving Judy the atvantage. --- Judy uses FAKE OUT (causes target to flinch + does damage) Tinair

Softly, and as quickly as she could manage, Tinair slithered into the arena. Not incredibly fast, compared to most Pokemon, but it was what she could manage. No sun. Good. That meant there was no danger of being blinded accidently. Her opponent was easy to see, a large brown kangaskhan, who was already moving towards Tinair. Scowling, she slid forward to meet her. The creature was big, even for her, who was normally taller than everyone else.
But it wasn't as if she didn't have any tricks up her sleeve.
The Kangaskhan rushed forward, only to stop a few feet from her to stomp her feet. She eyed them warily, knowing that even one stomp would hurt quite a lot. But she wasn't the target of that attack. Or was it some sort of dance? Before she had time to figure it out, the Kangaskhan was attacking again, her hands reaching dangerously close to her fins. She jerked her head and body back. Her earfins were delicate!
She wasn't sure about attacking right now. Her opponent was fast, and strong. If she darted in now, she might get whacked. Better to prepare for the Kangaskhan's next attack, and her own.
Tinair slid to the back of Judy , tail trailing behind her. Ready to dodge or to attack.
(Sundance , Tinair did nothing because of flinch.)
