[Kanon]

She walked down the road, a slight skip in her step. It had taken some convincing, but her father finally said okay to her joining the Guild. The team that had rescued her when she got lost was part of the Guild, after all, and now she wanted to be part of it too. She looked up at the Guild building, the gate closed. Apparently that was normal around here, the gate being closed during the day.

She and her parents had just moved here from a village beyond the fog. Of course, they'd had to move once the fog rolled in, but now they had a new town and a nice home, and already Kanon was making friends. She glanced around before approaching the gate.

"Hello?" she called through the gate. "Is anyone there? I want to join the Guild." She heard what sounded like footsteps coming toward the gate, but she couldn't see anyone right away. A few steps back put some distance between the Chikorita and the gate, just in case. She could take a hit, sure, but that didn't mean she wanted to get in a fight.

[Hoppip]

Behind Kanon came another Pokemon, one that also wished to join the guild. This one could fly through the wind, or run on it's little tiny legs. But the wind started to pick up, and Hoppip went ramming into the gate, right infront of Kanon.  Owww... Hoppip turns to see a green Pokemon. "Oh, hey! Are you a member of the guild?" Hoppip asked slightly nervous. "I was looking to join, and umm.... ummm.... Maybe get stronger? I want to explore, I want to see what lies past this fog... But sadly I am not strong enough to do so.... I also would like to help anyone in need! So with joining the guild I figured I'd get stronger, get to explore, see what lies past the fog, and help people in need all at once! It sounds so amazing!!!" Hoppip smiled, and leaped around for a moment uncontrollably. Today is the day, the day I get into the Guild, the day my dreams cone true. The day I become the hero I've always wanted to become!

[Kanon]

Kanon jumped when the Hoppip collided with the gate, blinking in surprise at the pink grass type. Before she could even say anything, the Hoppip started talking. Kanon laughed, an oddly musical sound for a Chikorita.

"No, I'm not part of the Guild, not yet at least," she said with a smile. "My family just moved into town, but I got separated from mama and daddy a few days ago. Team Dynasty saved me! They made me want to join the Guild! She turned to look at the gate, which was still closed. "But the gate's closed and nobody's here yet to open it." She looked back at the Hoppip again. "Oh, I'm Kanon! It's nice to meet you!" She extended one of the vines that sprouted from her neck, in attempt at a grass-type handshake.

"I want to get stronger so I can help others," she explained. "My daddy didn't want me joining, but I convinced him!" She flipped the leaf on her head around, as if she was proud of herself. Which she really was. Her Abomasnow father was very protective of his little girl, it had taken quite a bit to convince him to let her join the Guild.

Alex looked at the Chikorita. "Aw, man. Was really hoping you were a member of the Guild so I could get in. " Alex shook hands with Kanon, his little hands being very apparent. "That's a cool name. My name is Alex." Alex smiled really brightly as they shook hands. "That was my goal too. Get stronger so I can help anyone in distress. My all time goal. I want to be a hero, somebody that everyone looks up to... And it became clear that this was the way to do it! I'm excited to get to be in the guild. Now if we could just figure out how to open the gate... Alex noted steam above, and steam meant a chimney(hopefully!). Maybe I can fly on up there, and then go in the chimney... No that is a stupid idea, I would burn up... Hmmm..... Alex didn't normally have any grand ideas. "So, how should we get in??? Knock really loudly? Start screaming?"
