She held me spellbound in the night The sun hung over her head like a doting mother, spreading light and warmth through all bits and corners of Andalusst; although, maybe not some parts. The alleys still remained dark and secluded, the perfect hide-away for a individual who did not obey the law as well as those around them. The darkness seemed permanent as to protect those who were forced to hide from those that wished to restrict them, forever a safe-haven in enemy territory. However, the city shied their eyes from those parts; mother's gently guided their children away, city staff glossed over it, civilians never mentioned it. The alleyways held the most dangerous, yet everyone refused to acknowledge it. Olympia happened to be one of those that laid low in the background until it was time to leap into the foreground and snatch the valuables that others had foolishly left unattended. No one suspected her. She put on a well enough act; an alter ego that only wanted to make friends, chase butterflies, and do good deeds, yet beneath it all was one who had lost all faith in the world and decided to not restore it, instead going along with what dwindled her trust in the first place. No one suspected a Skitty, Skitty's were always so kind, so gentle, so nice; and Olympia felt like breaking the stereotype. The marketplace bustled with Explorers, Outlaws, and Civilians alike, the explorers wishing to prepare for the next dungeon, the civilians getting their groceries, and the outlaws blending until a chance arose to make a great escape. The crowd was a massive sea that only shuffled a few steps every second, Pokemon lining up at shops and others browsing wares of local vendors. Over the mass of voices interlocked to create a cacophony of sound, there came a young, feminine yell, desperately asking for help in catching a thief. But, Olympia was already gone. Weaving through the massive crowd of legs and bodies, the skitty lithely dodged and avoided multiple out-stretched paws and tails in her dash for cover. It didn't take long for her to escape the flurry of bodies and exit the perpetual buzz of the marketplace with a burlap sack caught in her mouth. Her frantic leaps and bounds made gold coins jingle within, her long tail streaming behind her as she skidded into an alleyway and disappeared into the dark. Her eyes peered out briefly, before she began creeping down the darkness, satisfaction rising in her chest. With an extreme surge of pride, Olympia full realized that she could eat tonight and let a grin overtake her face. @tag 458 muse. some notes can go here. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

WHEN I GO DOWN I'm not so bad when you get past the smell TAGGED: Olympia | WORDS: 394 | NOTES: ... The Marketplace, all the Pokemon of the town of Andalusst gathered in one place though this meant that there was plenty to more people to steal from, it also meant the explorers and many more Pokemon were around to stop an outlaw such as Kolt from doing such things. Not being a fast or nimble Pokemon and only relying on his strength and special poisons he didn't really have anything that would allow him to steal something especially since being a Grimer, people already were very weary around him because of his stench.
Kolt usually hid in the garbage cans or in the sewers, waiting and watching for someone to walk by his hiding place before attacking but when there was so many people, all he could do was wait for someone to come around alone into his area. As he sat there waiting and watching, the marketplace exploding with people young and old walking through, all these people who could walk around and not be stared at, all these people who don't have to rely on stealing, though he did notice a few outlaws being sneaky and blending into the crowd.
As he watched he heard a scream and then a small Pokemon running with a bag full of what seemed to be gold, wanting to catch up to the Pokemon and maybe use their being alone to get himself some gold. Slinking into the sewers he made his way through the path, popping his head out of the sewer grates every few feet watching and listening to the crowd, "She went that way." "What was she doing why did she do that?" People were talking about the Pokemon, he had to find it this may be his only chance to get some food tonight.
Sliding out of the sewers he moved into an alleyway, running through the dark smelly alleyway that he usually called his home he took a few turns and finally found himself behind the Marketplace... This was where the thief had gone, but where was it. Listening he heard he faint sounds of coins jingling before dropping down into the ground and moving over towards the side of the alleyway. His sludgy body made it so that he could flatten himself out, making him look like a disgusting puddle as he waited for the Skitty to walk by him. credit goes to Lunar of GS & THQ

She held me spellbound in the night She could still hear the distant shouts of frantic Pokemon looking for the Skitty who had run off with some coins, a sound that made a maleficent smile grow on her face. Perhaps she would not have stolen that Pokemon's coins if they had taken better care of them, but the pouch hanging dejectedly off their side, it looked to Olympia like they hadn't wanted them. How was she to know? Swinging the coins around idly, the cat-like Pokemon wandered the dark alleyways, the thrill and adrenaline of snatching something in plain sight still making her heart pound against her ribcage and her legs to buzz with excitement and anticipation. She always loved the rush of stealing something; perhaps too much...? It wasn't like Olympia exactly cared too much about that. With a sigh of excitement, the Skitty stopped stretch, bending down and arching up her back. Her spine popped a few times, and as she rolled her shoulders, she could feel all the tension she had built up over the day wash away. Sure, running from the authorities and angry Civilians kept her athletic, but sometimes her legs and back still locked up, so it was still quite useful to stretch out any aches and pains she might have gathered in the week, day, or even hour. The pouch of stolen coins hung lazily off a belt she had tied around her waist, tinkling with any movement. The Skitty rounded a corner, only to be met by a wall of putrid stench. Grimacing, Olympia squinted through the minimal light of the alley, trying to see through the shade and identify anything that might be causing such a smell. It was unfortunate that she had to cross this alleyway to reach her makeshift home, or else she might've veered away and took a detour, because the scent was absolutely unbearable. Scrunching up her nose in disgust, the Skitty began walking through the puutrid alley, hating every minute of it. Petite paws scuffling against the grimy, lazily cobbled path, the only noise being her soft paw-steps and the wind that blew softly through the narrow walkways. Spotting a dumpster a bit down, she let out a sigh of annoyance. Of course someone had to throw their trash out here; would she have to deal with this stench for the rest of her life? Rolling her eyes through the darkness that plagued the backways, she proceeded to move forwards, only to nearly step into a puddle of dark purple. Curling her lip in disgust, she stepped back, feeling the cool stone of the path beneath her paws. "That's disgusting." she muttered to herself, twitching her ears and shakibng off her paw, as if some of the grimy liquid had actually gotten onto her paw. Letting out a huff, she side-stepped, unaware that the puddle had actually been a Pokemon in wait for her. Kolt504 muse. some notes can go here. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

WHEN I GO DOWN I'm not so bad when you get past the smell TAGGED: Olympia | WORDS: 352 | NOTES: ... Waiting in the alleyway, he could still hear the people searching for the Pokemon who had stolen the sack of coins. Though he would have done it himself, he found this way to be easier, thieve from the thief. His puddle sitting there blending in with the beautiful garbage of the alleyway as he listened for any sounds, his eyes closed as to not give away his position he used his other senses to find him the perfect time to strike. His body was flattened out and to someone just walking by they would think someones garbage had simply spilled all over the ground into a liquid pool of sludge.
He could hear the faint sounds of paws hitting the cold path as the other sounds of the civilians and authorities dying down as they gave up the chase of the Outlaw. He couldn't help but feel like his plan was going to work perfectly, this Pokemon wasn't going to know what hit it when he jumps out of his hiding place. As the steps got closer and closer the Grimer began to get antsy, he couldn't see who it was but from the sound of the pouch of coins he knew it was who he was waiting for.
As they walked up to him he heard the voice mutter in disgust it was now or never, he opened his eyes and looked at the Pokemon reaching out his hand to grab at her leg. Immediately realizing who the Pokemon was, he smiled seeing the beautiful sight of the Skitty in the dim light the smile on his face growing as he began to grow back into his normal size and no longer looking like a puddle.
"Hello lovely, a cute thing like you... Walking around in a disgusting place like this." His eyes immediately darting to the coin pouch and the sides of his lips curling, "So you are the one making all the commotion... Clever girl, I underestimate you... Stealing from right under their noses. But I guess, someone as beautiful as you could get whatever she wanted..." He slowly moved around her, leaving a trail of sludge behind him as he moved. His eyes fixated on the girl as he circled around her, what was someone like her... A Skitty, doing being an outlaw? credit goes to Lunar of GS & THQ

She held me spellbound in the night The outlaw jumped in some sort of shock as the sludge seemed to move, reaching out to grab her delicate paw. Leaping back, the Skitty arched her back in defense curling her lip back in a snarl as her long tail waved back and forth in alarm. Of course she should've expected something like this to happen; Grimer's never did look like actual Pokemon, but rather just aimless sludge. While they wouldn't be good at stealing out in the open, she realized they could easily snatch things from the shadows with that sort of the camouflage. It nearly made her jealous, but Olympia was more than content with making a show of her theft. While it didn't do good for her appearance, she always loved watching people aimlessly wandering the streets, shouting for a Skitty that would never bee seen again. Despite the smooth words of the Grimer as he went into something a bit more solid (as solid as he could be), Olympia still remained on guard, ready to dash away if he made a move. The Skitty knew well she would never be able to take this Grimer in a fight, so she'd need to utilize her speed. She barely flinched when he called her 'lovely', or 'cute', even when she was far from both. She had been called both when she had been acting like a stereotypical skitty simply so people might see her as unsuspicious. "Yeah, it's pretty gross." She agreed simply, though her words held a hint of a reserved, untrusting nature. A smooth tongue wouldn't earn her trust, not ever. She'd already been down that path before and she would prefer to leave that in the past. He moved on, and she nodded with a wide smile that revealed a row of sharp, alabaster teeth. Of course she had been, commotion seemed to follow her every paw-step, and it was something she loved. After all, if you didn't properly protect your belongings, your house, even your life, it could all be lost in such an unforgiving world. Survival of the fittest, she always said; Olympia had no problem with picking off the weak, simply because they should have known better. "Of course I was. No one ever suspects this face until they see me running off with their things." she responded with a grin, although barely tried in donning another facade, simply because she was all tired with doing it from use all throughout the day. it got exhausting to consistently step into someone else's shoes. However, as soon as her words ended, her eyes rolled over with a dark storm and her face hardened. Why had this Grimer stopped her in the middle of an alleyway? To compliment her? How suspicious. A distrusting flicker in her fiery eyes, she stared at Kolt warily. "What did you want? No one just randomly compliments someone." she stated firmly, a small frown growing on her face. Her tail had begun lashing again, although she made sure to keep it off the grimy cobblestone, simply because it was disgusting and she didn't want anything but her paws brushing it. WHEN I GO DOWN I'm not so bad when you get past the smell TAGGED: Olympia | WORDS: 547 | NOTES: ... Continuing in smirk Kolt watched as the Skitty was not fazed at all by his words, only flinching slightly when he called her cute. Her voice was definitely not trusting of him which caused him to shrug and smirk, at least she wasn't an idiot. His eyes glancing up every now and again as small sounds echoed through the alleyway, ignoring them for the time being he moved in a little closer to the Skitty. "What do you plan to do with those? I'm assure you that there is a lot there for one little kitty cat."
He watched as she still stood there still, her tail in the air so it didn't drop down into his sludge or into the mess that was the alleyway. He could tell she'd rather be anywhere else but here, though this was like his home he did enjoy the finer things in life but alas it just wasn't in the cards for someone like him. "I see, so you have it down to an act." He smirked as she told him that people didn't expect her, so he was right, she really was a conniving little vixen.
"What's the real Cat Bandit like then? What does she want?" He moved around so he was now behind her, she could run away if she wished but he would find her again. But as he turned around to continue talking to her it seemed as though she was through with the conversation, "I see. Well I guess there was no real point to this. I want the coins, It's a rough world and really... Can any of us be trusted?" He was about to swipe down at the Skitty but stopped as he heard another noise.
"Shit." He said as the sounds of footsteps resounded on either sides of the alleyway and sure enough they were surrounded on both sides. "There she is!" The words came from behind them and before they could do anything someone else shouted, "We've got you surrounded, give back the coins and come quietly. Your days of thievery is over" Letting out a deep sigh Kolt looked at the little Skitty, "Run. Up the ladder and onto the roof, I'm sure you can get away there." He whispered as he moved next to her and winked. "The names Kolt by the way."
Giving the Skitty enough time to get out of the blast zone he raised his hands up to the two groups of people on either side of him, they were still a few feet away and probably weren't looking to have a full battle here. "I'm sorry but I don' think she's coming with you today.... POISON GAS!" He shouted as he opened his mouth letting out green smoke breath, as he turned his head around he began to fill the entire alleyway until there was nothing but a thick layer of green smoke.
Coughing and hacking came from both groups as the covered their mouths and started running away. Kolt simply smiled and shook his head, "I guess I've gone soft." He said to himself as he sinked down into a puddle and moved down the drain to the sewers. Working his way out of the alleyway to hopefully find the Skitty somewhere else. credit goes to Lunar of GS & THQ

She held me spellbound in the night The Skitty watched him as he moved in closer, her response being a step back. His stench was not pleasant, plus, such close proximity was just asking for her bounty to be swiped. She wouldn't be the prey when she planned on being the predator, and predators never let their guard down. Her eyes narrowed, growing with a fierce intensity as the stranger proceeded to speak, his smooth words barely surprising to her. Pokemon were desperate these days, they'd do anything to get what they want, and the unneeded compliments were the first warning. "Maybe buy myself a house. Maybe a lot for one person, but when split, they're barely enough for two." she responded sarcastically, glancing back to her waist to assure the coins were still hanging there. You never knew what could happen in a few seconds, she had met a few amazing pick-pocketers in her days and she knew that you never felt a thing when they lifted your belongings. She grew silent as she watched him, making sure the rest of the alley was easily noticeable in her peripherals. The alley had begun to echo with soft voices, the scuttle of footsteps, but as it seemed, she was a bit pre-occupied with the conversation, even though she knew she had to get going. Staying in one place on the run was a death sentence. Shifting her paws uneasily, her fiery eyes stayed on the Grimer as he spoke, and she simply nodded, shrugging vaguely. "If I didn't act, I wouldn't be so successful. Being myself doesn't make money." she responded, flicking an ear and letting out a sigh. Now that she was on the streets, she could never get off and that was guaranteed; nobody would easily hire a bandit, no matter how much she tried to clean her record. She perked up as she noticed he had begun circling her, leaving a trail of oozing, purple sludge in his wake. Adrenaline began flowing through her veins as all defense mechanisms kicked into gear. The stranger was moving slow enough that she could easily run, but she knew all Grimer were easily connected to sewers; disappearing somewhere didn't render her safe for long. Her mind raced with escape routes, her blood rushing so fast that she barely heard the soft scuffling of feet on grimy cobble growing near. "I know you want them." she responded bitterly, but still managed to curl her lips into a wide, confident smile. "But if you want them, come and get them."She was stopped straight in her tracks by booming, assertive voices carrying down the dark alleyway, lights shining down the alley and illuminating both of their faces. She squinted and let out a hiss. "Damnit. Eyes narrowing, claws unsheathed from her paws, digging into the cobblestone in frustration as she faced the strangers that had surrounded her, tail lashing wildly. "Ooh, so scared! These coins are as far away as your love lives!" to prove a point, she waved the pouch around, the soft clanking of coins filling the alleyway. Bunching up her muscles, she got ready to fight, only to be halted by the soft whisper of the Grimer she had been speaking with before. She was lucky he had a plan, because she sure didn't. She turned and nodded to him, although she still didn't trust him. He could just be acting friendly, so the authorities could get some info out of her... Well, maybe they succeeded, because she introduced herself before she could even catch herself. "Name's Olympia. I'm out." she hissed beneath her breath, before bounding and shooting up the aforementioned later, a grin stretching across her face as she bounded up it and onto the concrete of a roof. Skidding on the hard material, the only things she heard as she began running was the cry of 'POISON GAS!' and the extreme hacking and coughing of those who had tried to detain her. The wind blew at her small body as she ran, leaping from roof-top to roof-top due to close proximity of buildings. She only stopped when she had been running for a while, her heart pounding against her chest and her breathing heavy and strained. The soft chatter of civilians could be heard below her, the alley far behind and anyone who might be looking for her still remaining in the Marketplace and in alleyway full of poisonous smog. A grin suddenly erupted onto her face as she worked on catching her breath. Once her breathing had reverted to normal, Olympia carefully descended from the building she had ended atop, her muscles aching and her head pounding from the intensive, taxing escape as the adrenaline wore off. However, she ignored all of her bodily pain and landed softly on a lazily cobbled road bustling with civilians enjoying the nice summer day. Hiding her grin with some effort, she slowly merged among them, acting as if she had just gotten out to go on a small stroll through the town. Kolt 860 muse. some notes can go here. WHEN I GO DOWN I'm not so bad when you get past the smell TAGGED: Olympia | WORDS: 427 | NOTES: ... Smirking up at where the Skitty had gone before he dived into his sewage system he shook his head how could he have gone and saved her. The life of an outlaw as kill or be killed, he could have easily pretended to be a civilian trying to stop her or something better but instead he went ahead and made it clear that he was working with a thief. Not that he enjoyed going out in the open but still, this was going to make life harder for him. His sludge dripped through the drain and into the underground sewer, he dropped down like a big glob of sludge and after he landed on the hard cement floor he rose back up to his normal "Body".
Looking around there was no one down here, there never was, other than other poison types or some little rattata lurking around hunting for scraps. He started sliding his way down the path looking up through different grates looking for the Skitty, if anything he wanted to talk to her see if he could get a few coin from her. But nonetheless she wasn't that horrible, her name was Olympia. He remembered seeing her hiss at him as she left, he was sure that she put up a facade but he was definitely pretty cool how he saved her. Olympia seemed interesting, thinking about it maybe she could be useful, she seemed to know the town pretty well and was quite the actress, maybe if he followed her and helped her out he'd get more out of this whole outlaw thing.
Finding another pipe he jumped up grabbing onto the edges and pushing his sludge body through it and started sliding up the pipe and pouring out into another alleyway, stretching he yawned and looked around. He loved being in the alleyways, the darkness and damp of the alleys were always more friendly than being out in the open with the groups of civilians and explorers and less competition. It seemed on this side of the MarketPlace people hadn't realized there was a thief on the loose, it was a lot more peaceful.
Sliding up into a garbage can he popped the lid over the top of him and looked around, where was that Skitty. She couldn't have gone too far, he opened the lid a little and poked his head out shushing a little Marill who saw him. The kid ran off crying, this caused Kolt to chuckle as he slid out of the bin and back to his alleyway. credit goes to Lunar of GS & THQ

She held me spellbound in the night As the Skitty moved with the slow crowd, the mass of people moving like a herd of sluggish, grazing Miltank, she realized how tired she was. The whole situation had only started to sink in, and the more she thought of it, the harder it was to keep up the friendly, cute act she made for the public eye. Why had the Grimer helped her? It was unnatural, Outlaws didn't help eachother; if anything, they just stole from each other more than they stole from civilians. Now she owed something, and she hated owing something. Shuddering, she clenched her paws and drew her claws, nearly breaking the mask she had been wearing. She needed to get out of the Marketplace, she couldn't do this anymore. The air stuffy from all the slow-moving civilians and the lazily grafted stone beneath her paws, she swiftly began weaving through the spiderweb of Pokemon to reach the dark entrance to an alleyway. The stone was heated to a burning point by the flaring sun, her paw-pads growing to be extremely irritated not only by the burning sensation, but also the scratches that had accumulated from skidding across rough, concrete rooftops. She grasped for the alley desperately, frantically padding into it so that she might rest and let out her pooling emotions, no mater how much she hid them. Despite the grime and dirt of the stone that made the ground, Olympia moved to a brick wall and slid down it with a sigh, frowning and letting her body regain the energy exerted from escaping those who wanted to imprison her. Adrenaline no longer dulled her senses, so the exhaustion of running for so long began to seep into her bones and limp muscles. There she rested, a soft breeze whisking through the alleyway, bring the idle chatter of the Marketplace on the wind, along with the putrid smell of garbage and sewers. Her eyes wary, she glanced this way and that, only to spot a Police officer poking his head over the tops of the crowd without causing a commotion. "Shit." she muttered in annoyance, rising to her paws slowly and beginning to walk down the alleyway, as if casually. Sighing, she rounded a corner and tapped her paws against the cool cobble of the path, the shade having kept the earth a comfortable cold. Eyes forward, she spotted the shimmering of a lid as it slowly lifted, revealing a small sliver of purple grime. There he was. Might as well pay her debts so she could leave them in the past forever. Picking up her pace, she came up to the trash can swiftly, standing at the entry of an alley and watching the Pokemon pass by. A Petilil chatted casually with her friend as she passed by, only paying the lurking Skitty one glance before returning to a cheerful conversation in the gleaming sun. Smiling at this ignorance, she let her eyes wander to the can beside her, rising a petite hind paw and lightly kicking the metal side of the can. "Hey." she hissed beneath her breath, hoping that no one heard her idly talking to a trash can. "Come out of there." She demanded, shifting so that she casually leaned against the cool surface of the vessel. Kolt 570 muse. some notes can go here. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

WHEN I GO DOWN I'm not so bad when you get past the smell TAGGED: Olympia | WORDS: 355 | NOTES: ... Sitting there he could feel the heat of the garbage gun increasing as everything inside seemed to start growing in stench from the heat. Essentially giving up the search for the Skitty he decided to wait, if they were meant to meet again they would and it would be much more trouble for him if he chose to search for her. Relaxing in the garbage can, taking in the stench of the rubbish he let out a sigh that echoed throughout the can as he closed his eyes. Today was eventful, not that he hated eventful days, he just wasn't expecting it to turn out the way he did.
As he laid there all snug and ready to sleep he was rudely awaken by something hitting the side of the can and a voice coming from outside. Letting out a groan the reached up raising the lid just a little so he could see outside before looking out over the edge to see the Skitty leaning against it. Her voice was so demanding he let out a, "Ooooohhh. Someone's feeling Fiesty after I saved her." He slowly seeped out of the back of the garbage can and slide quickly into the nearby alleyway, into the darkness and out of sight of the civilians walking around. His trail of goop seeping into the ground as he turned back to the cute little kitty, "Have you come to pay me back for my good deed." He gave her a smile, his toothless mouth grinning as he leaned up close to her.
"I take coins and favors. Now if you don't want to part with your coins I do have a favor that you could accept." The grin turned almost menacing as he put his goop hands together. "It's your choice, Cat Burgular. It would be worth your while, it would also mean we get to... Work... Closely." He gave her a big wink as he put his hand against the wall and acted cool the menacing smirk still stained on his face. "But I know. Actions speak louder than words. So it's up to you Miss... She held me spellbound in the night As time went on, she found that the already bad stench of the garbage can began to grow in intensity with every degree it heated up, the conducting metal helping nothing in that sense. Wrinkling her nose in disgust, she rose to her paws and glanced to it with a curl in her lip, lashing her long tail in annoyance. Vaguely, she wondered why this Grimer was always so smelly everytime they encountered, but she only pondered the easily answered question for a moment before she found that that the Pokemon within the metal container was now speaking. Glancing down with an extreme intensity in her eyes, she listened to him for only a moment before rolling her eyes. She would have responded if she hadn't already been gathering attention from the moving crowd for staring angrily at a trash can. Swiftly, the Skitty retreated to the darkness of the alley, disappearing into the shadows and feeling a coolness wash over her back. Fur prickling at the sudden change in temperature, she wiggled her toes on the cold cobble, eyes searching the grimy ground for the purple sludge that she had met once before. She didn't do much searching, Kolt soon grinning once more and leaning up to her. She wrinkled her nose, backing away with a narrowed gaze and flicking an ear in vague irritation. "Look. I don't like debts. I'll give you a few coins and we can be over with this." She stated firmly, her expression and voice expressing that she clearly meant business. However... The favors mentioned did sway her stance slightly. Ears perking and a brow quirking with interest, she leaned forward, staring at him with vague attention. "And what kind of favor might that be?" she wondered smoothly, lowering her haunches so that she rested easily on the dirt and grime of the alleyway. While she didn't enjoy owing anything, she would willing do a favor if it meant keeping her coins that she had worked so hard to obtain. Settling her long tail on the stone beneath her, she seemed taken aback by the sudden request to become partners. Leaning back, she tilted her head and frowned, deciding to ignore the wink he sent her way. Flirting would get no where with her fast. "...Partners?" she wondered after a moment of silence, as if clarifying that she had heard him correct. She pondered this for a moment, weighing the pros and cons of taking in the Grimer. He seemed strong and useful, someone who could sweep enemies easily, as well as the fact that she wouldn't have to give up her earnings. The con being that he wasn't of the most pleasant smell and that he probably never would be. Despite this, the pro's narrowly out-weighed the con, and soon, Olympia found herself agreeing with the decision. Looking back up, she gave a firm nod and a blink of her flickering eyes. "You have yourself a deal, Kolt."...That was his name, right? Kolt 523 muse. some notes can go here. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

WHEN I GO DOWN I'm not so bad when you get past the smell TAGGED: Olympia | WORDS: 345 | NOTES: ... At her response to his constant ideas, he found that she was actually warming to the idea. Seems as though he over thought the fact that she too could benefit the fact that if they partnered up they'd get a lot more cash for their little escapades. "No one likes debts, love. That's why I like to deal in favors and as you realize, this favor benefits us both greatly, so. We become partners, we go on little jobs and we split the loot. This way we can go on bigger missions and get bigger loot. Of course when it comes to items, we'll just have to figure it out there."
He put out his sludge hand, the goop dripping from it as he held it out to her, the smirk on his face as he waited to see if she would take his hand. "To seal a deal one should always shake hands with the other. Olympia." Waiting a few seconds he took his hand back and shook his head, "I wouldn't touch me. Us Grimer, we have... Special abilities..." He gave her another wink and slid back a step, wondering if she'd realize what he meant. Now all they needed to do was go find a job that they could do in order to size up each others strengths and weaknesses. Obviously if they were to be partners they'd need to learn to watch each others back... For the most part. It was still kill or be killed and he was far from ready to jump in front of a fire blast for this little kitty and he was sure under that cute mask she always wore, she too would run at the drop of a hat if danger was too great.
"I know a place where we can go on some.. Shady jobs. I'll find us something that will pay and maybe we'll get something else out of it too." He turned around and started sliding down the alleyway, turning around after a few slides and looking at her. "Let's go partner." credit goes to Lunar of GS & THQ

She held me spellbound in the night A small gust of wind flicked into the alleyway, buffeted against her soft, pink and cream fur as she made deals with the sludge-like Pokemon. She listened curiously as he spoke about the benefits, but she couldn't help but feel that her interest had been waning by the end of his speech. She had already figured the logistics out, for she was not the type of cat to rush blindly into deals like the petty explorers. She thought out her options, calculated the risks, and let out her verdict quickly, and she did not need someone to explain her thought process to her. She wasn't shy about letting Kolt know this either, as a bored expression had soon taken up vacant, thoughtful features as his voice went on. in fact, the little Skitty didn't even bother to answer. She just waited for him to continue. And, continue he did. She watched with disgust as an arm moved from the dark purple sludge that made up the Grimer's body, goop with the consistency of sewage running from his hardly solid hand onto the dirty cobble beneath her. She stepped back with a sneer on her face, lashing her tail and she looked up to him. "Do you think me stupid?" she wondered, flicking an ear as she turned her head dismissively. "Everyone knows to not touch a Grimer, even the absent-minded civilians." she responded, nearly offended by the mere thought that she would be so stupid as to place her paw on his dripping hand. She shuddered at the thought, content with not being poisoned that day. Olympia's thoughts on the matter were similar to Kolt's. She would watch his back and she would assume he could watch hers, but she was far from ready to throw herself in front of him. She would not be a hero, because all hero's died someday, either from bravery or stupidity, and she was planning to keep living for much longer. It was a dog eat dog world and Olympia wasn't going to keep Kolt's fate from him, for if the world planned for him to die, who was she to prevent that? perhaps it was harsh, but the Skitty grew up with this ideology and she wouldn't be easily swayed. Nearly lost in her thoughts, the Skitty blinked as she realized that her new partner was sliding off, leaving a trail of thick, purple slime in his wake. She sighed; now that they were partners, she supposed she would have to get used to that, but the rather cleanly cat was unsure when she would finally accept it and not feel like throwing up every time Kolt moved. Careful to keep her clean paws away from the trail of sludge, she followed after the Poison-type, soon falling into step beside him. "Yeah, yeah. I'm coming." she responded, petite paws tipping the alley cobblestone as she moved beside him, towards the direction of the Kanga Room, an Outlaw Bar under the guise of an inn.
