I DON'T WANNA CHANGE THE WORLD I JUST WANNA LEAVE IT COLDER ✿ Judas narrowly avoided falling over himself as he rammed into the cranidos hard and was met with a similar feeling to having run into a stone wall. The cranidos probably took some damage but he doubted it was more than a thorn scratch might have done. The types were bad and Judas had no real counter to the rock type than what he was doing now. It had to keep working though, for he feared what would happen if the rock type managed to snap out of it. Judas may not be able to scratch the cranidos, but the reverse was likely not true at all.   His mind must have slipped. Judas was caught up in worrying about the attack and didn't see it coming. The cranidos was clearly still in a daze, but it managed to still get close enough to line the shot up, and it wasn't until the last second that the noibat realized there was no time to back up and let it trip over itself. Tensing, the hit drove hard into his chest, sending both of the pokemon stumbling. Judas had no breath, and everything seemed fuzzy as he tried to shake his head, strange sounds echoing there. He couldn't... breathe. Air. He needed... gasping, the noibat turned to see the other pokemon now behind him. His ribs ached, had one been cracked or something? It hurt... it hurt so much. He couldn't... couldn't take another hit like that. Mind stumbling, instinctively the noibat moved, his body telling him to replenish his strength, to get his health back before something bad happened. Fangs glimmered as Judas struck the cranidos again, trying in vain to regain what he had lost. Although disorientated, the Cranidoa barely seemed affected by the tackle employed by Judas, knocked back a little before stumbling back up to him. It seemed the defending Pokemon was a bit more determined now.

Cranidos used Headbutt! It hurt itself in confusion!

Gathering it's feet beneath it, the Cranidos wobbled unsteadily before running at Judas and trying to ram into him, only to overshoot and fall into the dirt, scraping up it's body along the way. it didn't get up, but struggled to, confusion and injury making it hard to focus.

I DON'T WANNA CHANGE THE WORLD I JUST WANNA LEAVE IT COLDER ✿ A small breath of energy passed through Judas as his fangs found purchase on the cranidos. Leaping back as he came to his senses, Judas noticed with a grimace that this attack was about as effective as the last, which was to say not. The small rush of energy had snapped him back to focus though, and as he filled his aching lungs with a deep breath, his gaze was sharp and alert, focused carefully on the cranidos as it stumbled around, its dark irises finally coming to set unsteadily on the noibat.   It rushed at him again and Judas hurriedly backpedaled and then darted forward, ducking as the clumsy pokemon managed to crash over him, sliding across the forest floor roughly. Exhaling, Judas realized he had been holding his breath, the noibat's legs and arms groaning in protest of being so tensed. On the ground the dinosaur struggled, it's wounds and the effects of Judas' screech must have been taking their toll as it failed to find it's feet. But he couldn't afford to wait around until it found it's footing, Judas knew now that this pokemon was easily capable of killing it, and he had to finish it otherwise he may be done for. Stepping over it, the noibat descended on the prone pokemon, fangs glimmering again as Judas bit down hard. The Cranidos didn't stand a chance as Judas fangs latched onto it's body, seeping the energy from it until all it could do was crumble and disappear in a cloud of fog, the Noibat stand (or flying) victorious. COngrats, you won the battle!

I DON'T WANNA CHANGE THE WORLD I JUST WANNA LEAVE IT COLDER ✿ Drawing in a breath, Judas felt tension drain a bit as the ache in his chest faded a bit more and the cranidos ceased to struggle. Crumbling away, the rock tog turned to fog and faded away much as the hoppip had before it. Anxiety prickled under Judas' skin. The first fight had seemed so easy, he had not even gotten a scratch, but this one brought him within an inch of death. Did type differences change that much? Maybe the hoppip had merely been a weak pokemon. There was no easy way to know, and that put Judas ill at ease.   Who was to know what the next opponent he faced would be like? Another rock type could easily ruin him if he wasn't lucky. In fact, he had already been insanely lucky to only get hit once between two encounters. How long could his luck hold? What if his attack missed? What if they shook off the confusion or managed to push through their disorientation? His fighting strategy worked, but it relied a lot on chance and circumstance....   No. Panic helped nothing. Judas was merely working up his nerves. He had to just continue forward. Glancing back where he had came, the noibat considered retreating towards the stairs and going deeper into the dungeon instead of continuing on this floor. He had already gotten stronger since staying on this floor, he felt that. Just a little more he finally decided. If things didn't change he would head to the next floor instead. Telling himself this, Judas tried once more to continue down the corridor, his paws softly padding on the forest floor as his ears strained to hear any other pokemon attackers who may approach him. As you head down a long hallway, the thick underbrush brushing against your sides as evidence of a snug fit. Gliding down the tunnel brings you into another small, shaded room with the quaint buzz of a hostile Yanma filling the background noise. It was too fast for you, using a move before you could even try to get in a hit.

Yanma used Tackle! It did 6 damage!
Noibat Health - 8/22

The bug-type rushed at the other flying Pokemon with a loud buzz, mis-matched eyes glowering upon the other with determination. It slammed into the Noibat, before buzzing back a bit to steady itself from falling.

I DON'T WANNA CHANGE THE WORLD I JUST WANNA LEAVE IT COLDER ✿ Judas managed not to run into any other hostile pokemon as he trekked down the corridor, the path remaining straight before opening into a clearing of sorts. Perhaps room would have been a more accurate description than clearing given the odd ways that the forest bent. Still, there wasn't time to think about that, as it became clear very shortly that Judas was not alone.   A buzz hummed in the noibat's ears, and as Judas swiveled his head back and forth trying desperately to locate where it was coming from in the murk. A moment later his wordless question was answered, a yanma darting forward. There wasn't any time to evade before he was struck, the noibat windmilling his wings and stumbling backwards and up. Hovering, he wheezed slightly. The blow itself was not nearly as hard as the one that cranidos had done him, but he was already fairly injured and it wasn't a light tap either. Steeling himself, Judas grimly swept forward, his jaws opening in yet another high-pitched screech. He knew he was over-relying on it, but it was the best defense he had at this point, and the dark spots in the corner of his vision did not bode well. The screech sure sounded loud, but the yanmega seemed to be unaffected by it, as if it hadn't heard the deafening cry. And... Maybe it hadn't. Either way, it was rushing at you again, ready to give you another beating.

It knocked directly into you, flying as hard as it could so it could send you back a little. The buzz of it's wings grew a bit more furious as it came closer, until it finally just tackled the spot just beneath your ribs.

I DON'T WANNA CHANGE THE WORLD I JUST WANNA LEAVE IT COLDER ✿ Judas winged his way back slightly, uncertainty clouding his mind. He had screeched at it, he was sure of that, but the yanma hadn't so much as flinched from the sound. Was it immune? Was such a thing possible? Maybe it was deaf... no. No! He must have just missed, maybe it was not the right pitch or had echoed off the trees or something... there had to be something else. It had to work... he just had to try it again, that's it. Moving to close the distance to make sure it worked this time, there was no time to avoid the blow aimed at him, the faster pokemon easily ignoring his feeble attempt to dodge.   White light seared across Judas' vision as the bug barreled into his chest just below his ribs. Tumbling to the floor, the noibat landed roughly, bouncing slightly on the forest floor, his eyes squeezed tightly shut in agony and his wings clutching weakly to his side. Was this it? He felt heavy, oh so heavy, and his chest felt like it was going to burst. It burned and ached, and he felt like he was suffocating, he couldn't get enough air. Using his wings as arms, he struggled to push himself up, coughing horribly as he did. Opening his eyes, everything was fuzzy around him and the world spun. The green and brown of the ground had splotches of red on it, like a smeargle had dripped it's tail while walking through. But smeargles didn't have red tails...   Hacking again, more dots of crimson bloomed like budding flowers. His blood. Was he dying? Glancing up, the trees seemed to go on forever, a vaulting dome of forest above him. His ears ached, the buzz of the yanma still humming in them. Above his head the creature flitted, steadying itself from it's attack, a sort of blobby shape in the air. Terror clutched at Judas' heart, then a sort of icy coldness. So that was to be his killer. He thought he could get stronger, but he was too weak to even make it more than a few feet.   If there was room for second chances, then maybe this would be his. If not... Judas didn't know then. He supposed this would be the end. Filling his lungs, the noibat bit back a cry of pain as he let out another screech, it's high pitch ringing in the air and mixing with his own painful cry. Perhaps Judas' own agony was preventing him from comprehensibly performing his Supersonic attack, for the Yanma seemed to avoid certain confusion once more. Shaking it's head this way and that, it buzzed back towards Judas, prepared to make the killing blow.

All Judas felt was the agonizing pain of getting hit by the enemy, before falling to the floor and seeing his vision go black. All he could do was wait for himself to be transported back...

Judas fainted! Judas was transported back to the Guild!
