Personality: Nix has two levels. The first is a childish one, loves getting in to trouble and trying new things. She quite likes to meet new pokemon and she really wants to see things in the world others have never seen, if she saves someone along the way then thats good but she doesnt seek it out. Shes not a bad pokemon, shes a poke on who will steal if she needs to eat however and believes there are lines that step over those of the law. On the other hand she is very scared, she doesnt like herself and fears a lot of things even if she never shows it. She'll think it, never say it. She is worried becoming attached to others will only mean she loses them and also fears males, this is partly down to her single encounter with one almost leading to a very nasty attack but she knows she is shiny and being shiny is a prize some pokemon want. Shes seen that, and it angers her deeply but shes scared of it a bit too.
History: I was born in to a very normal family, of course me being born as a shiny came as a shock to my parents but it wasn’t a bad thing. They treated me just the same as any other child would be treated aside my father being a little over protective, but that was because my parents were firm believers of Pokémon remaining wild and not being caught. My mother was a high level gardevoir who had been followed by Gallade and gardevoir alike for many years and my father was a Gallade who had been with a trainer as a ralts for a while before the exploring group gained a togepi and sent him away, not needing him anymore. He had happened across my mother accidently when she was trying to get to a hidden place she went to during breeding season to avoid unwanted attention and he had offer her the used of his teleport. Of course she had attacked him on sight but then realized what he had said was helpful and not insulting and so had remained beside him until he came to again. He had woken up to find her still with him and then had again offered the help of his teleport and she took him up on the offer, of course they had fallen for each firmly then and were never apart again from that point onwards.
All I remember about being little was father training me, he taught me how to teleport and how to use confuse ray so that I would never be utterly defenceless. Then he started to take me for walks top find other wild Pokémon who were willing to battle me to allow me to level up, I was good at battling before I was even 3. By then my baby sister was born, Suzie wasn’t a shiny like me but she was smart and she was sweet and always wanted to learn. Since I was evolved already I offered to teach Suzie some moves so that mother and father could have some time together and that was how it all went wrong. I spent months teaching her moves and she was quick to learn, we even went out wild battling and I stepped in once she got too weak each time and then fed her Oran berries to heal her again. It was wonderful until the time mother came to find us.
She came running through the trees and then bent down to pick up Suzie before turning and I saw the fear in her eyes, father was behind her and he picked me up and they started to run before there came a shape before us. It was a gengar. He was taller than my father which was something that scared me and he had a beard too, his eyes were dark and his was smirking in a way that made me want to attack him. Mother turned at the sight of him to see gothelle behind us and she froze and cradled Suzie closer to her, father had turned too by now and was looking the other pokemon over. She was a small human dressed all in light purple and her eyes were pale blue, she seemed much less scary and she even seemed like us. “Good call ivy, we have the whole family plus a little shiny. It seems you and your mind power can be handy” the male said in a deep and gruff voice and the female only narrowed her eyes in on him. “Shut up Tomas, I’ve only done this because I’ve felt a connection to these ones” she said in a tone that clearly showed she didn’t want to be chasing us all. My mother seemed to wilt and then she dropped down to her knees and started to mumble and my father turn to her and his eyes softened, he placed me down and then bent down to my mother in time for me to hear small words. “I don’t want to keep running, I want to be safe” she whispered and father nodded his head stiffly before he stood up, he ignored the male and then looked over to the small female and his eyes closed. I knew what he was doing, he often used his psychic moves to make other pokemon think things and leave us alone but the female seemed not bothered by it “she’ll take us, she is a psychic like us” father said in a somewhat happy tone before the human held three pokeball’s up.
I knew that they were because father had always kept one with him as a way to remember that he had come from a darker place, We only wanted to be a family and if this stranger could offer us safety and being a family still then it was fine with and it seemed fine with father too. “I only have room for three, I want to take the Gallade and gardevoir, they can pick who else I get” the female said in a bored tone and I froze. I knew father would have given up his place in safety if it had meant me and my sister and mother were safe but he was claimed now. Mother curled her arms tighter around Suzie and I realised she had made her mind up, “looks like I get the little shiny girl” came the gruff voice which made me both angry and scared and I turned to see the gengar walking forwards towards me. Mother had already moved and taken two ball from the female and I saw Suzie was gone and then mother disappeared in a red flash and I winced before turning to my father, “I’ll find you all again, we can be a family again” he said down to me and I nodded but said nothing. I knew id cry if I did.
He looked over to the male and then his eyes went from caring to a wild anger I had never seen before, he stepped in front of me and then crossed his blades in front of me to stop the ghost type and I saw the other frown. “Ivy, control your male” he snapped and my father turned his head to look at me, “go, go now” he said simply and I just looked at him. “it’s not safe, he’s not a good pokemon, you have to teleport now” he said to me before turning towards the male again and stepping forwards, I didn’t understand what was going on but I knew my father always knew what was best so I knew I had to do as he said. Father stepped forwards again and the ghost gave an angry snarl before trying to push past him to get to me, “she’s mine now and ill do what I like with her and treat her however I want” he growled and then father just shot a bolt of thunder forwards at the man and he shot backwards. The female frowned and then hung her head and I knew she hadn’t known what the male had been thinking, but she held up a pokeball and I saw her throw it over to my father. I had very nearly teleported away before I saw him look at me in the saddest way I’d ever seen anyone look, there was no way we would all be together again. And now I knew that.
My eyes were forced shut by the light that surrounded me as I teleported away and I felt the ground below me disappear before it was back and I fell forwards in to my hand and knees, I looked up to see a small pool of water that fell over a little waterfall and then there seemed to be a cave to the left of the waterfall. I had been here only once before, it was the day I had first said I was going to evolve and both mother and father had looked so happy. And now they were gone and little baby Suzie, they were all gone. My knees slid forwards and I wrapped my arms around them before I started to cry. It felt like years before I stopped.
I didnt know where i was, where i was going but i knew living in the forest alone was not something i was going to be able to do. So i picked a little of the berries i knew, a few pecha and oran and started to walk. I came over other pokemon within a few days, they told me of a town where pokemon often came together and were shocked i had never heard of it but i had been raised in a forest away from anyone for a reason. SO i decided i would head there, try to make some freinds or a name for myself before trying to find my family again.
