PERSONALITY,
At first glance, Wylie isn't what you would take for an outlaw. The kitten's charming appearance and endearing smile are quite an effective mask.
Wylie is devious and cunning in nature, and often uses his looks to trick others. Whether to con others for money (specifically, shiny coins), or simply to cause trouble, Wylie is very skilled in the art of deceit. The hobby started with the Meowth's love for coins.
Of course, Wylie's personality didn't help. The kid loves to stir up trouble, finding thrill in causing chaos and amusing himself with the aftermath. While he isn't likely to cause any real, harmful damage (unless provoked), pranks and thievery is right up his alley.
His speed and agility make it easy to escape retribution, as well. He isn't the most well known outlaw in town (which allows him to get away with tricking others repeatedly).
Despite his dishonest and somewhat cowardly nature, Wylie does enjoy the company of others. However, the trust he hands out is limited, and hard earned. His youth and hopeful personality (ironically) make him a bit easy to manipulate himself. Though, it isn't often he stumbles across someone who can outwit him.
His cunning is his most useful tool when it comes to his profession. It's vital for every aspect of his life, from charming others with his looks, to finding the perfect hiding places from those he's angered. His wit has prevented him from getting caught in the act.
